**What do you like best about HR Plus?**

Zenefits made it incredibly easy to get up and running with hiring, onboarding, medical/dental/vision, and workers comp insurance.  I prefer to spend my time focused on the business - not administrative tasks - and Zenefits made this really easy. 

I also like the integrations.  I'm using zenpayroll and the integration with zenefits is super easy. 

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

I'd like the document management to work a bit better. I love the idea of using the platform to manage the documents and signing, but it doesn't quite work the way I'd like yet.  I'm using docusign - it would be great if zenefits could integrate with that for offer letters, confidentiality and IP agreements, consulting agreements, etc. 

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding and HR management.

**What do you like best about HR Plus?**

Very simple user interface. Very straightforward to select benefits, tax withholding, and other standard HR-related transactions.

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

Had tried to set up direct deposit to split across accounts and that was not supported online at the time. Needed support to get it set up for me.

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically manage and streamline HR processes and forms in one place.

**What do you like best about HR Plus?**

Zenefits has proved to be simple and user friendly.  The on-boarding process is amazing.  We were doing all on-boarding manually and it was a difficult process.  Zenefits has allowed us to be organized and better time keepers.  I highly recommend this system to any small business!  Working for a small business means you wear many hats and this system has made a huge difference. 

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

The only issue we had was with a few of our documents uploading.  Worked the issues out and moved forward. 

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central location for all employee information, pay, benefits, length of service.  Also having the ability to create custom reports.

**What do you like best about HR Plus?**

Initially was attracted to (a) low cost (of course...), (b) clean user interface, and (c) document management features. 

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

My "specialist" seemed to be learning on the job, and provided inaccurate information multiple occasions. I can forgive errors, but not when it results in my employees not having health benefits.  This alone is reason for me to switch providers, but add to that slow support response times and a number of obvious software bugs and you get a picture of a company that is trying to grow too fast.

**Recommendations to others considering HR Plus:**

Really kick the tires, and interview your specialist before committing. If you are a start-up, I would not recommend starting with Zenefits; it will cost you far more time than you have to waste.

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Was looking for health benefits administration along with general HR workflow support around hiring/firing processes.

Sometimes getting assistance is difficult, if you have more involved HR things it can become hairy

Payroll and benefits handling for our medium sized business

Ease of use - don't have to jump thru many hoops to get things done.

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

Early on, when I started my current position, there was an issue with my commuter benefits mastercard - it didn't arrive and I had to call once (twice, maybe) to get one sent.

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't understand the question - are you asking about what *my* business does or my use of Zenefits? My use of Zenefits has been purely as a user, and its one of the easiest HR-type systems I've ever used.

The UI is extremely clean and intuitive. 

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

Zenefits does not offer some of my favorite insurance options, such as Kaiser Permanente for medical benefits and VSP for vision benefits.

**Recommendations to others considering HR Plus:**

Zenefits takes the guess work out of managing high-quality medical, vision, dental, and commuter benefit packages for your employees. It's extremely easy for employees to sign up and use. If you don't have the bandwidth to manage insurance benefit packages internally, I highly recommend using Zenefits.

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in the HR benefits space too, but focus on benefits like employee recognition and vendor/retail discounts.

**What do you like best about HR Plus?**

Cheap.  Cost about $40/mo per employee for admin fees including Time and Attendance, Payroll, and health plan management fees (FSA, etc).

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

No accountability, buggy platform, poor support.

**Recommendations to others considering HR Plus:**

My employees work hard and I like to give them a great HR experience.  Zenefits was not it.

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our experience was horrible migrating from a PEO to Zenefits for HR management.  

Specific issues:
Time and Attendance never synced to payroll correctly causing very unhappy employees.  They pushed lots of manual time and attendance calculations (overtime) for each payroll period to us.

Medical and dental employee deductions didn’t sync when we employees selected insurance from Zenefits.  This caused high then low payrolls (and they got shorted on cash the way healthcare is tax deductible when “make up” deductions we’re made).

Also, the worst part was the buying insurance through them.  We signed up with them on January for an April migration.  They neglected gathering key information which kept our employees without health insurance for 15 days after we canceled the previous service.  They did make it retroactive…but employees had no insurance for 15 days…and complicated manual insurance submittals.  They took no responsibility for their negligence and pushed all costs of their mistakes to us. 

Responsiveness: Their team typically responded the next day on the most urgent issues (rarely same day)…and normal issues required multiple follow-ups on our side to get updates.   Not good for urgent payroll related issues caused by their sub-par reporting.

We purchased ZenPayroll through them as their preferred payroll provider, but they provided no guidance on how to configure it with Zenefits.

If you need cheap, Zenefits may fit the bill.  If you want happy employees…run, don’t want from Zenefits.

**What do you like best about HR Plus?**

The conversion team was excellent during all of my conversion processes.  I was very pleased with the whole process and would recommend this product to any small business wanting to centralize and organize their HR department.

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

There was really nothing that they could have improved - the one small glitch was a simple miscommunication and was fixed quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering HR Plus:**

Excellent conversion team and overall product.

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our on-boarding process was very disjointed and this product centralizes everything for me.  I now only spend a couple of hours a month on HR whereas I was spending several hours a week doing the same thing.

Ease of set up, and how easy it is to log in and download information/documents that I need immediately.

Not sure there is anything I dislike. The product is easy to use and implement company wide.

Easy employee onboarding, easy to selected your health plan, and easy to download any information you need.

Very clean user face. Easy to use and all information is easily found.

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

Not very detailed and very little functionality. The individual plans for medical don't show location, so offices tend to have a hard time finding the medical/dental/vision plans in their systems. Also, there is very little customer support offering

overall view of all of my benefits. Accessing my medical/dental info is quick and easy

**What do you dislike about HR Plus?**

would like additional functionalities like company wide reporting. That being said, I'm not as familiar with the software as others in the company. 

**What problems is HR Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As opposed to individual employees having to email Ops/HR for info, they can access the information quickly.
