HomebuilderONE is one of the few ERP platforms designed specifically for production homebuilders. It provides an integrated solution across sales, purchasing, construction, warranty, finance, and reporting, allowing departments to operate from a unified platform. At our organization, HB1 became the system of record for managing the entire homebuilding lifecycle and helped standardize processes across multiple business functions. The platform offers strong workflow capabilities, real-time operational visibility, and extensive configuration options that support complex homebuilding operations. Many of the modules work well together, reducing duplicate data entry and improving cross-functional collaboration. Last but not least it works within the Microsoft environment, so we have created many Logic App integrations and are using MS Fabric with Power BI for reporting. Like most enterprise ERP systems, HB1 requires significant effort around governance, training, and data quality to realize its full value. The platform can be complex for new non-technical users, and some processes require multiple clicks or a deeper understanding of system relationships.
