I like Hex’s workflow concept for data analytics and that everything is in code. As an engineer, I like being able to change the architecture and designs in code and maintain versions of those changes. I also like learning about agentic problem-solving and seeing how Hex works with the other tools we use in our applications. I don’t see Hex currently addressing the downstream BI needs of users who connect to Tableau, get extracts, and load them into their environments as CSV or PDF files. I’d like to extend the Python libraries we use for coding so I can better extract data and carry it to the business.
