I use Hex to automate some very repetitive grunt work. It speeds up decision-making by generating analytics that give me clear insight into what’s going on. I like being able to use SQL and Python together to make powerful applications and dashboards. I can use SQL to reduce massive, complex data into something more manageable, then use Python to create visuals and analyze the reduced table. I find the filters annoying because the app tries to run while users are still changing them. I can use the “Run now” button instead, but users might forget to press it and think they’re seeing data for the filters they selected. It would be helpful to find a way past these challenges.
