What do you like best about Heroku Postgres?

The best thing about postgres is how easy it is to install it on your computer, where heroku gives you your credentials and you are already connected, you do not have to configure many things regarding ports, it is also very friendly with its interface with options that make it easy to make queries to your heroku tables, you can update and see in real time what is happening with the data and your tables and you can make any sql statement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heroku Postgres?

What I don't like about heroku postgres is the fact that heroku gives you this compatible tool to communicate with your database made by heroku, there can be differences when you make your app in any programming language where you use frameworks that interact with the database engine and this as it is postgress some versions are updated when you upgrade your database to a paid one or another tier bigger than the one you had it becomes tedious to reconfigure if you change the version of postgress. What problems is Heroku Postgres solving and how is that benefiting you?

Heroku postgres helps me to have a view of the data as I knew it from before, I as a sql developer previously only knew how the data was related in tables, now that I am making my web application I have to do more than a sql developer but without ceasing to be one, this helps me not to stagnate in learning the operation of postgres as it is not difficult Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
