What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

We use it for System Design interviews and coding rounds. The UI is intuitive, and getting onboarded to the platform is straightforward. It also generates a PDF summary toward the end of the interview, which I’ve found helpful for review and follow-up. I also appreciate the built-in intelligence that can flag candidates who may be trying to cheat. Performance is on par with industry alternatives, and the integrations for code, the whiteboard, and the question library are all useful. Overall, I think it delivers a good return on investment. What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

Some industry alternatives, such as Excalidraw, feel a bit more polished and easier to use, particularly for things like whiteboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HackerRank Developer Skills Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Without this, we would need to ask people to share their screen, but with it, it’s much easier to identify and track any suspicious activity. It also helps both the interviewer and the interviewee feel like collaborators while working through a problem. Previously, we used different platforms for different parts of the process, but now we can do coding in multiple languages, whiteboarding, use the question bank, and get a summary of the interview in a PDF—all within the same platform.
