**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

Works great for the team to proof designs. Started off great and we've used this for the past 4 years. This is the only reason I am holding on this subscription but it's literally the only reason we are trying to make it work for the next month.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

Customer service is horrible and there is no way to get in touch with them except their chat service. They tout a 5-10 min response on their 24 hour chat support, which they need to remove because that is false - it takes days for them to get back. I have been billed incorrectly, told I would get credited yet I do not (since February), they are unclear about their storage capacity, unclear about their legacy/current subscriptions, incorrect information about login on their help site, and it seems they do not want to be bothered to fix anything. Do not sign up and find another proofing program to use. They are a scam and a nightmare!

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this point they are not solving anything for me. The problems continue.

The ease of use, we are a marketing agency and are switching review softwares and wanted to make it seamless for our clients and internal team. The integration with Adobe is fantastic and the ability to hide comments on reviews instead of multiple versions of the same file for internal v extranal

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

Everything has seemed good so far, I am still learning it but it would be nice if within a project if I could select different team memebrs to review specific files vs everyone that's included in the project. That might be an option I just don't know yet!

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

We can either use the GV email to send our designs for approval or we can send a link. We're also using GV to attach our Sales Estimate so that we know customers have received both their artwork and Estimate so that they can approve both in one step. 

Customers like GV and our approval cycles are accelerating. We like the ability to capture user comments as well.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

The UI is still pretty basic but it fills the requirements and customers seem to understand their next action.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to share any kind of artwork, like InDesign IDD files and not allow them to get corrupted when customers review. It also is nice to have the ability to compare versions, and of course to store all versions of artwork.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

What I like best about GoVisually is the customer support team behind the platform. AJ & team are diligent and want to make the best product possible to help creatives stick to what they do best, being creative. The platform is so easy to use and integration with Adobe CC apps means the upload process is seamless. I use GoVisually every day and have been using the platform for many years I get excited every time a new feature is added and whenever there is a bug it's quickly rectified by the team once flagged. Our clients love that they don't have to create an account to leave feedback and they have a place to go and look back at previous projects. I'm always recommending GoVisually to my creative peers. **What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

There's very little I dislike. For print work, it would be great if clients could toggle on and off the crop/bleed marks and maybe see the dimensions of the work so we don't have to embed this into the proof. But I really am nitpicking here.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Govisually takes the stress out of the approval process and the countless e-mails we used to send back and forth. As well as making sure there aren't hundreds of PDF proofs flying around which could accidentally be sent to print. It also helps if there is a problem as we can say who approved the proof and when. The new checklist feature ensures that people know what they need to check before clicking the "approve" button so we're not held liable should there be any spelling errors etc. It saves us hours and also, it's fun to use!

It is easy!  There is really no learning curve with this software.  It is easy to see the comments and where they relate to on the packaging.

Make sure that you understand project and folders prior to starting to use because you can move things afterwards.

This program allows us to easily share art files internally, work on them simulaneously and share them with outside counsel or suppliers as needed

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

I like the UX - I tried many other platforms before and didn´t get happy with it. GoVisually integrates best in our workflow, we use it also as an direct integration to Asana.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

I doesn´t like the price model. I have many projects, so it gets expensive by time. If I had a wish: Please let the projects limit go. I think that is a reason why many people doesn´t change from frame.io.

GoVisually is fully integratet in our workflow. All creative users use it to get internal proofs or also external from our customers - as mentioned, we use the Asana integration.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

I found GoVisually online after many searches. While I still haven't mastered the system, it's easy enough for myself and my clients to get work reviewed and approved. I love the customer service, very nice people. I really enjoy that the platform allows for mobile reviewing, click to add comments but also box to add comments, and that my clients can instantly download the file after approval. 

I also just found out I don't even have to leave photoshop or illustrator, there's a direct plugin that will upload my files to GoVis. Amazing. 

Well worth the money

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

I really don't have any dislikes. Every obstacle I have had has been handled by customer service. I don't think anything is wrong with the platform, it's easy and awesome.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was near impossible to track my clients down for an in person review and even more difficult to have them print and mark up a draft. GoVis allows my clients to leave comments anywhere they are from a phone or computer. Without GoVis I have no proof my clients approved their designs, email chains for the amount of design work I do will not work. This was the perfect solution

I liked that it was easy to use! I also really like that my client didn't technically have to make an account to add comments to things they were reviewing.

For the most part, all of the pdfs I uploaded for the client to review loaded very slowly. It took a while for the pages to load once in the system.

It is a very easy way for clients to review things that im creating for them. It's definitely something that I recommend for any freelancer.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

Communication with our clients is a big deal and GV helps both sides be on the same page about the projects. It's good to know that having them join our GV team was easy because of the intuitive interface. Communications is so good, we haven't even met some clients  in person, but we've been doing a lot of great work, all via GoVisually.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

The Slack integration helps a lot. However, we would love to have a preview of what our client writes right there on Slack.

**Recommendations to others considering GoVisually:**

It's great for including clients on your Go Visually team. Usually, adding client to different software is a pain considering previous knowledge is required for most software. This is not a problem with Go Visually, we were able to get the hang of it in a couple days/weeks, and we don't consider our clients to be tech savy.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the works has to go through a "Publications" department. Including them in our team has sped up the workflow.

Providing complete audit trails of who has approved which items. Allowing for comments and feedback to be placed directly onto the item that needs approval.

Limit of 1000 live projects, but if you keep up with archiving projects once they are done, you can work around this.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

My proofing needs are fairly simple. GoVisually is the lightweight and intuitive solution that I was looking for. The visual interface is nice, and it handles large PDFs with great speed. Brining clients and other users into the fold is easy too. Just enter their email and they're automatically in... no heavy account setup. And the customer service team has always been very personal and responsive.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

It could benefit from greater settings customization, such as the ability to set your own global defaults or adding agency-specific disclaimers to the approval dialog. The app's e-mail notifications could use some refinement as well.

**Recommendations to others considering GoVisually:**

If you're looking for a proofing app that gets the job done quickly, GoVisually is it. Its feature set is not incredibly robust, but that's also one of its benefits... you're not paying for dozens of functions that you don't need. It's perfect for small studios or independent designers that simply need an effective way of sharing files and getting the client to sign off in a convenient and trackable manner.

I get client approvals much more quickly, and with much less effort. And GoVisually keeps a record of everything in one place.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

GoVisually is very simple and easy to use. I love that because many of my clients are not computer savvy at all.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

GoVisually would like you to add revisions to the same proof, and for most users in the design world, that would be fine. However, many of my users are bad with tech, so having a secondary tab for different revisions is a bit too much. I always end up creating a second post to stay clear of the clutter. I also wish I could archive past projects.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoVisually helps keep everyone on the same page and prevents me, the designer, from getting five emails telling me about the same change or correction. It's also helpful to be able to visually mark a page where a correction is needed instead of trying to describe it with words.

I LOVE the fact that my clients are able to leave comments/notes directly on the proof.

I love it all, I'm still getting accustomed to the compare option so I don't use it as much, I'm not sure if my clients are using the feature.

Whew! I have eliminated the emails going back and fourth about changes to their design. This is waayyy more easier. Before, clients wouldn't know where to start when giving feedback and this makes it super easy and saves time as well.

GoVisually is extremely easy to use for both our internal team as well as our clients. It has created a more reliable proofing system for our team and clients.

There is no way to set up "sub-groups" or projects within projects, so it does make it a bit less organized than I would hope for.

We are mainly solving the issues of 1. collecting written content from clients on long-form pieces and 2. tracking proofing and finding the bottle necks on projects.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

The ability easily to add multiliple versions of artwork is a game changer. That funstionality paired with the fact that reviews are unlimited and free is a HUGE reason why GoViually is the best solution for creative proofing & approval.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

The notification system is really frustraiting/overwhelming:
• The browser will not show reviews or updates in real time. It makes you refresh the page constantly to check proofing progess... or check email. But if i wanted to spend my day checking emails, i wouldnt need GV. I would simply proof via email.  
• Instead of seeing edits in real time, GoVisually opts to emailing you about every edit this is made. This is overwhelming and has discouraged our proofers form using the software becuase they areleady have a full inbox before you add the GV updates. 
• We seem to need a better system for notifying that proofs/revisions are ready to look at. As I said before, seeing edits pop up in real time, maybe an optional notification chime, would make this already incredible tool even more useful. An optional desktop notification app would be great. something that chimes with a link where notifications could stack up and be removed as work is reviewed... just a thought.

Rush proofing deadines:
• As it stands, you can only set 'tomorrow' as the soonest due date available.
• There should be a Rush Proof function that prioritizes a project above the rest for a reviewer and encourages for same day/immediate response.

Missing Approver Group Functionality:
• One key feature that is missing is the ability to create approver groups. 
• For example, in many instances I need to send art to the same 4 proofers. 
• Once they all approve, it move up to my creative director(s).
• Form there it goes to the execuvtive office. 

It seems like the ability to group the indeviduals into proofing groups would save tons of time instead of having to remember every single email address and hope they are typed correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering GoVisually:**

GoVisually will save you tons of time & energy if you are having a difficult time communicating creative edits and tracking approval/changes.
It is a powerful tool that is easy to implement. On-boarding teammates & reviews is super easy. Just beware of them email dump that will result font this communication. 
To solve this isse we had to get creative with email filters by auto-sorting GV correspndence into a sepereate folder... not ideal but still WORLD's better than paper or chat box proofing.

we have streamlined our previously messy proofing process. Getting clear direction that the whole team in able to see prevents needless back and forth chnages from approvers who have not communicated distincly different edits that are often at-odds with one another.

I really like being able to see all of our previous designs and the ability to make comments easily. I also like being able to attach images to comments - it really helps clarify design ideas and streamlines communication.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

I don't know if this is something to do with GoVisually, or the company I'm working with that uses it, but some of the products on it look a little "cartoony." I would like to see what designs look like on the actual shirts instead of an "illustrated" version of the shirts/products. Something I wasn't sure about at the beginning was how the "Needs Review" / "Needs Changes" / "Approved" / "Finalized" works - if finalized projects could still be changed, and if the labels even mattered, but the more I've used it the more familiar I've become. I don't even remeber if there was a tutorial the first time I logged in, but that may be something.

**Recommendations to others considering GoVisually:**

It's an easy, fast, and effective way to work on projects together and give feedback. Being able to add a comment to any area, add images (which is especially nice), use the multi-step approval process, and see all projects past and present all work together to provide clear communication.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I usually look up emails to find the designs, but then the link is expired so then I have to log straight in to GoVisually. That's just something I'm having to remind myself. Once in, however, it is very easy to comment/edit.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

GoVisually makes it really easy for us to share website design and copy with our clients. It allows for direct feedback on screenshots that otherwise would get lost in communication if handled strictly by email. We have, and will, use GoVisually permanently.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

The only thing I can think of is sometimes the link breaks when you go to share, but just be cognizant and make sure you click "Get shareable link."

We're getting feedback on websites VERY easily! Instead of asking our clients to write out their feedback, we're able to consolidate it in GV and share it with our content teams, designers, developers, etc. to get the job done!

Being able to quickly and efficiently exchange ideas and comments with our wash partners across the country.

Not much to dislike, usually it is just a minor bug or user error (like an overzealous firewall).

It suits all of my needs and I cannot recommend it more.

We need to present sign proofs quickly and efficiently. GoV helps us interact and make changes quicker in near real time and that helps us get washes on boarded more quickly and accurately.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

For me, the best thing is GoVisually's simple interface which means that anyone is able to start leaving comments for approvals swiftly and efficiently, especially clients I have who aren't that tech-savvy. I also love that the GoVisually team is constantly striving to make the product better and better to aid all different kinds of creative businesses, now including GIF and MP4 commenting. 

The team are always on hand via the live chat to sort out any issues and help support you, I can't recommend them enough!

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

As with all online products you occasionally come across bug and snags but I know that when these are reported they are swiftly dealt with. It would be great if the product would support interactive PDFs for digital products so that links and interactive parts of a PDF could be checked by a client within the interface. I know this is something the team is looking into. but overall, love the product and the team, keep up the great work! it would also be great to be able to compare pages from different proof versions so clients can see what differences have been made between proofs. I also know this is something that GoVisually are working on, so I can't wait for that update!

**Recommendations to others considering GoVisually:**

I definitely recommend you take up the free trial to see if this can work for you. I haven't looked back and for the price, it's really good and affordable but more importantly a time saver and looks really professional too.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that clients are commenting quicker on projects and it helps that everything is kept in one place for when amends and updates need to be made to projects. It has particularly been a lifesaver for those larger brochure print products, especially during the draft phases. It also helps that because it's all done online that clients don't receive anything but the final version so there aren't hundreds of random PDF documents flying about.

It's easy to share art with clients and others.  Upload is easy.  We keep our art in houses by customer number, and Go Visually is a great way to keep old art  mock ups for customers.  The simple design makes it easy for our customers to use.  The drag and drop ping of files while uploading art is nice and saves time.  I also like the way you can look back at past revisions.  Also the price is very fair.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

the only dislikes I have is that I would like to be able to approve the art as the sales rep instead of only being able to "finalize" the design.  We use finalize as another step in our program, and that feature would be nice.  

The other dislike would be that customer sometimes miss the buttons up top and don't understand how to request a revision.  I would say that 2/3 of our customers have no problem, but some end up emailing us instead of making the comment.  I felt like this was happening less when we had a simple Reject (comment) and approve buttons really big together.  It really only gave them 2 choices.

our old art approval system was something we built.  It was over 8 years old, and keeping it updated with plug ins became a nightmare.  It eventually was too old to keep.  It is very nice find a service like Go Visually.  I searched several different options, and I felt that Go Visually was the best not only with functionality, but also with the a great price.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

I absolutely love that my entire team can access all documents and project files, and we're all working off of the most current version. It diminishes the need for searching through everyone's email and running the risk of working off something that's already been changed! Really, it has streamlined my agency's workflow. By optimizing our workflow, we've effectively saved time for every part of the process, from me sending to clients, clients providing feedback, and my team being able to design from there.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

I wouldn't say that there's anything to dislike about this program. If I could make one change/suggestion it would be the ability to upload batches of images rather than doing them all individually. After that, I would like to be able to reorganize their order simply by dragging. Those are mostly nitpicky things though, and I know that the GoVisually team is always receptive to feedback!

**Recommendations to others considering GoVisually:**

Try it out. I chose this product because it checked off all my boxes. My team and I would die without it, and I am just so glad that the first product I tried works so well. Especially if your team and clients are located in different places as mine is.

ALL of the ones that my agency had prior to my hiring. I realized that communication was a weak point, and with this program, we're able to be on the same page. Not to mention, our clients use this as well. So they get an automated email when their proofs are ready, therefore it saves me time in having to email them personally. They make changes, and GoVisually lets me and my team know that we need to take care of that. I cannot stress how much time and energy this program saves all of us.

I love how it is so easy to upload and add versions to our design works. It is also easy to manage different projects and it always notifies us when our client comments on our work. It has been helpful for the designers and the clients to collaborate regarding the projects. I also love that the clients don't need to sign up if they're gonna review the project. I highly recommend this platform!

Sometimes there are unusual bugs on the platform. Like when we remove the reviewer from a certain project, they keep re-appearing. This is not a big issue but sometimes the client gets annoyed of too much GoVisually notifications.

Our main problem is when we need our clients to check our work. Good thing with GoVisually is that they can easily comment and point on a certain area where they would want to revise or add something to the design. And it's also helpful since we have tons of project and GoVisually just stores them perfectly.

We use GoVisually to quickly send review links to our clients. The client can quickly make comments on images and let us know what needs to be changed, or mark things as approved right away. 

The workflow is very simple and easy. Especially useful is the feature to have internal comments rather than having everything public. This means our team can do QC or provide clarification for one another right in GoVisually without doing it all infront of the client.

GoVisually has been a great tool for our designers to work more productively with the rest of our organization. It saves us so much time in the review process and is really easy for new employees coming in to learn quickly. Anytime we have questions or need assistance their customer service is always around to help. They are constantly adding in new features which is exciting and keeps up with what our team needs!

I don't really have any dislikes! I would just suggest for a new feature that it would be great if they had a way to create folders so we could organize our projects that have been completed.

Before GoVisually, the only way for us to review projects was marking them up on a PDF. This was very unorganized since we would have multiple people going back and forth with changes and emailing the PDF between people would get confusing and sometimes things would be missed. GoVisually has given us a singular place so everyone is aware of all the changes being made and it's easy to notify everyone at once when a new file has been uploaded.

At Swift Group, we use Govisually at every design stage. We use it internally in the design team for early concept work, then as the design starts to take shape we invite key stakeholders from the business to review. We then use the platform to communicate our finalised designs to engineering and production. And later, for approvals on brochure visualisation. 

GoVisually allows us to have constant communication with various parts of the business all at once, which is extremely helpful in a fast-paced production environment. We have also started using the platform to present products and designs to external clients such as Caravan Dealers for customer review.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

As a member of the Advanced Design team, I work on or review almost every project that goes onto our GoVisually account, because of this it can take a bit of searching to find a certain project in my list. It would therefore be helpful for our team if we could assign projects to a folder in the list, i.e. 2021 Caravans or 2022 Motorhomes.

GoVisually has helped increase communication of design across the business. It is a quick and easy way of presenting and discussing design work and developing the final product.

Like the new video tool -- exploring comments in .xls like the vimeo review platform would be helpful.
Price is competitive for the use.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

Users still miss the menu at top center somehow. We need to continually educate our clients on how to make comments, add status, etc. A separate video we could send would be helpful to new clients.

Clients have complained about the user interface when there are many images. If they click on a design, make a comment -- the right side "design" choices resets and they need to find the image they were on. There could be a "next" arrow to navigate all designs and that would be HUGE to them.

Ability to export reviewer comments WITH ASSOCIATED IMAGES for reference - when we use 3rd party contractors, we don't want them directly in the tool to make comments or access client detail. It would be invaluable to make the "Export" tool more robust---where the images and related comment numbers come with the associated comments.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many benefits - fast reviews, easy interface, many images and many clients all from our one interface. We do like the tool.
The only reason at this time we will leave is if we find one that exports comments and visuals together----as that is a big part of our business.

Customer service. I like how quickly I'm able to reach out and talk to a real person if I have any questions or problems. The responsiveness of the GoVisually team allows us to move on quickly from any issues we may be having. I also have found it very helpful that there is a way to download designs from the website.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

I wish the mobile app was more user-friendly. My design team is often on the road and sometimes has a problem with being able to easily see what's been uploaded. It would be great if there was a way to more easily see the designs that have been uploaded and comment without having to sort of drag the window around while trying to find the design. Oftentimes the site prompts users to log in again even if they're trying to view as a guest. I'm sure this is something on our end that we should do differently, but it'd be great if there was a seamless way to ensure anyone with the link could easily see what has been uploaded and send any feedback.

**What problems is GoVisually solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing our design team to get feedback from customers more quickly and with more "formality" for our process. When someone clicks "approve" we're able to put some hard parameters on the design process and move customers through production more efficiently.

I went from communicating on email, WhatsApp groups, text groups to a single software.

 Everything is in one place, easy and quick; the designers love it, and even the clients love it; the way you request changes and all the other features are quick, easy, and intuitive. 

I am already using it for almost a year, they constantly add new features, recently they have added a dashboard which gives you an overview of everything that is going on.

Most of our work is wedding invitations where the clients want to share with others such as relatives, event planners etc.  GoVisually sharing makes it easy to invite others to collaborate on projects.   Email requests can easily be lost in the thousands of emails we receive each day so GoVisually is excellent for keeping track of revision requests, and reduces double-up requests when everyone can see what each person has requested.

**What do you like best about GoVisually?**

The best thing about GoVisually is how easy it is to review and approve marketing collaterals online. I can simply upload a file and share it with my team members without having to keep track of several email threads. It also helps that I don't have to store the files anywhere else for sharing, everything can be stored within the app and can be made available for download easily.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

It is not easy to manage notifications from the app. Right now I can either turn on or off all email notifications but I cannot have a project-specific control over them. I believe this is something the team is working on, so hopefully will be cleared soon.

GoVisually makes it super easy to get feedback and approval from my entire team over marketing design collaterals and copies be it images or PDF files. I have everything in one place and ready for action.

The recent introduction of video support has also helped us easily collaborate of video ads for social media and youtube.

The best part is having all my edits centralized in one place. Previously, I was tracking people down, fielding written edits combined with online edits, scrolling email threads, etc. GV has greatly helped with streamlining design revisions.

**What do you dislike about GoVisually?**

I HATE that you can't archive projects, or easily store a record of edits. The "download comments" feature isn't useful because it's visually disorganized and doesn't account for revision history.

I greatly dislike how email notifications are not very customizable (sometimes I want emails automatically sent to reviewers, sometimes I don't). The result is a spam of emails from GV (new revisions, comments on revisions, etc.), which my reviewers have gotten used to, but it isn't ideal. That's why I won't use this for any freelance clients...my salaried position coworkers have gotten used to it, but I wouldn't ever subject freelance clients to that. I've taken to copying the link to the GV project in my own emails rather than send through GV, because my reviewers don't respond to GV emails anymore. Even then I can't control the auto emails they get once they login as a reviewer – that sucks.

The other reason I won't use this for freelance is the price. Too expensive for smaller operations.

The interface is intuitive to me, but not to some of my reviewers.
