We went to them first because they had the "reputation". But, let me just say, it was just one screw up after another, with no relief in sight. We decided to try GOOTEN, even though people said they weren't as good as Printify, but I am here to COMPLETELY REFUTE that. They are INCREDIBLE compared to PRINTIFY! Their website setups and editors are much more easy to use, their SKU setups are much easier with many more options and their support is DAY AND NIGHT compared to PRINTIFY's. Printify would take WEEKS before getting back to us with NO results. GOOTEN responded within 24 hours with exactly the response we needed. Then we actually ordered some SAMPLES. Here they BLOW AWAY PRINTIFY with some astonishing results THE FIRST TIME OUT. I can honestly say, we're glad PRINTIFY steered us AWAY from them and over here to GOOTEN, where we know we're here to stay! **What do you dislike about Gooten?** So far there is absolutely NOTHING to dislike about it. Their support is second to none, their response time is second to none, and their first sample order blew away Printify's sad attempts<-plural. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are starting a POD business with graphic stickers to start off with. So we needed a company that would give us the options we needed to be able to cater to a wide range of potential new customers. Gooten did just that and more. ### 2. All of a sudden multiple orders were not being pushed properly to Gooten. I contacted customer support several times to try to fix the issue. Following their instructions now my entire store will not connect with Gooten. I have emailed, and emailed, and emailed asking for help but their support team is slow to respond and doesn't have any explanations nor solutions. Avoid at all cost...or it might cost you business. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** They arent solving the problem. I've been going back and forth for over a month and they are providing no answers nor solutions. ### 3. Easy to use, pretty straightforward interface. I didn't have to google how to do something. The products seem to be good quality. **What do you dislike about Gooten?** I created some Soda Can Sip glasses with zodiac signs printed in white on the glasses. A) It's hard to tell where the design is going to print when having a front and back side as opposed to a pattern. Printify actually shows you a mockup with exactly what the print will look like. B) When uploading the files for personalization, because the design is white you can't see it on the page. So I'm hoping everything will be correct. This is one area where Printify does a much better job. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gooten was highly recommended to me for print on demand glassware because of their amazing packaging when shipping to customers. ### 4. I am so far, very happy with the products and overall the platform itself. It's pretty straightforward on the web page and for navigating through your products or orders. You can also sync gooten with your Etsy stores if you sell on Etsy and sync your products. You can also sync shopify and various other websites. On top of it all, Gooten does not require you to have to pay for your orders before receiving the money from wn order from another marketplace (selling) platform. Instead the money sent from the customer is automatically sent to Gooten and the selling platform(fees) and you get the remaining. I find it much less stressful for me, which really helps with the work/home life balance. I have already been recommending Gooten to some people I know. **What do you dislike about Gooten?** Sometimes I keep having to re save my mock up images, specifically for my marketplace platforms like on Etsy through gooten. Often I have to downsize on my mockups but the website keeps reuploading the ones I removed. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gooten helps me accomplish one of my dreams of running an online store. I can't produce the products myself due to a couple of reasons, however gooten is able to help support my business by creating my products I had designed. It's been a great platform to use. ### 5. The support team is very helpful and polite. **What do you dislike about Gooten?** While very helpful, the support I receive takes more time than I would like. What has taken me days to figure out, with the helpful support team via email, could have been resolved within minutes with a quick phone call. I recognize there may be timezone/geographic elements that contribute to the length of time it takes to resolve issues I think there has to be a better way. I would like my products to arrive to my customers with more of my brand either on labels or receipts in the packaging... something. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are still in our first few projects with Gooten so I think it is too early to offer a fair response to this question. I can say I am designing, Gooten is producing, and we are ironing out kinks with the ecommerce end of things. I ordered some of my own products to check quality of packaging, product etc... Connecting multiple products under different categories to the same product photo is tedious and challenging. So if I want to sell a print, and put the same artwork on a calendar, or even different kinds of prints, I have to create the first product in Gooten, add the variants in Shopify (which means going back and forth to grab the SKUs and manually add descriptions), then return to Gooten and individually sync every product. I still don't know if it worked..... It would be SO much better if I could just add products all at once with the same media file, and have a one-click sync button to my Shopify. 2. The file upload size requirements are not listed on the upload page, so I had to go look them up, which isn't a huge deal, but it could be better. However, when I uploaded the files according to the 6500px by 6500px recommendation, it still showed a low resolution error. (I've contacted support, but since they don't have online chat, it takes a long time to get any answers!) 3. The initial media upload is fine aside from the low-res error (still in works), but when I sync additional products, I have to manually rotate and resize ALL of them. 4. Gooten could highly improve with a solid AI chatbot. It's very frustrating to either search through endless articles or wait a day or two for a response to a support ticket! The articles are not very detailed or helpful, as I've already spent several hours trying to resolve the issues on my own. Given I am based in the UK, I was looking for closer production houses to lower shipping fees. It is easy to use and easy to make designs. I contacted customer support to find a list of designs that are printed in the UK itself and received a speedy response within one business day. It is very easy to integrate these products to your Etsy account - which made it easy as a beginner to start out. **What do you dislike about Gooten?** Unfortunately, they have a standard shipping fee on products which I only realised after making the designs. This shipping fee is really high especially if making low margin products. This has meant I have had to consider other suppliers with lower fees. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gooten had various candles to choose from which were all beautiful. Ordering is seamless, so far each order that has been placed in my online shop have been taken care of in a timely matter and with little to no manual action on my part. **What do you dislike about Gooten?** Wish there were more mock up photos for a lot of their products, mock ups are super important, and i have had to purchase mock ups from other vendors, yet it is hard to ensure they are just right with the actual product Gooten has. Other services offer better prices in some cases, though you may need to have a monthly subscription to really take advantage of savings with Gootens competitors (so this negative, in a way, is a positive. Heavyweight Blanks and Made In USA, ethical apparell. Large printing sizes in comparison to other popular POD services such as Printify or Printful. This is important if you want to print large stunning graphics on oversized T-shirts (common within the streetwear community). **What do you dislike about Gooten?** Takes some time to get used to the software, it's fine, but there is a small learning curve. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** High Quality Made in USA blanks, and oversized printing. They have a brand called Bayside which make excellent sweatshirts, and the use Shakawear who are well known for making high quality T-shirt Blanks. I chose Gooten because their products fit my shops esthetic and the platform was easy to work with initally. I was told when the first tech problem arose that it was a 'system' wide problem but the problems continued one after another for months. The ongoing email support seemed on top of it and I remained hopeful but it began costing me in time and money to launch my new shop. Then I was told in October the problems were all resolved but I continued to experience a bizarre problems with published listings being suddently inactivated, yet Etsy told me my shop was integrated in good standing with Gooten, they hadn't deactivated the listings so they moved the listings back to active status but Etsy couldn't tell me why it happened, it wasn't Etsy. But the problem persisted until finally there's 14 listings that were published but inactivated and if republished all data is wiped and they move to inactive status immediately. To have a problem is one thing but when support ignores requests for help, doesn't believe the problem exists and believes you are the problem that's something else entirely. I finally reached the limit of my patience and requested a one on one meeting with someone in the tech department because I felt I was disbelieved and ignored by the support person who had been assisting me.However, he was my only point of contact and he did not respond to my request for a meeting with someone in tech. I could not trust my nearly 100% Gooten shop products wouldn't malfunction and I was ready to start social media and ads in anticipation of the holiday season but everything stopped because I could not get answers. I knew I was being ignored and I knew I would not get a meeting. So I had to pivot, get a new POD vendor, create new products, which is time consuming and very stressful, I had to start over after months of creating Gooten products and try to do it all before the holiday sale season. I created as many new products as possible with a new vendor and have moved forward but the Gooten listing problem remains and I won't delete those product listings until I have answers or some restitution, this isn't my fault. The worst thing is the support person just contacted me, it's been well over a month since my email requesting a meeting, the ball was in his court and all he said was, 'I hope all is well', and all is not well. I'm not sure what he's up to but my only recourse is to post a negative review which I really hate doing but I've been again very patient and I know he won't do anything and I need to get someone elses attention. Gooten offers great products I would prefer working with Gooten but not under these conditions, I need to trust my primary POD vendor and right now I can't trust anything. I have added a few new products recently to see if the problem persists with new products, so far, so good but I still have 14 published paid listings I can't do fix, I know they need to be deleted in my Gooten store but that means I have to recreate, republish and pay the listings fees yet again, I don't think that's right, it may not be a lot of money but it's alot of time and a provider should make good on a problem, someone else should check out what's going on in the support department. **What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing products for my new Etsy shop, they are the best POD vendor for my shop's esthetic, quality and price range but Gooten's technical problems and support is greatly lacking . ### 30.
