**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

The collaboration and sharing function of docs, spreadsheets and slides makes it invaluable for our organisation who work in different areas of the country.

Its incredibly easy to use and integrates into other products we use seamlessly.

newly added ai features have made spreadsheets a lot easier to tackle.

Most of all it just works and have never had an issue having to find anything

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

the only downside i have is not being able to have our company fonts and style set as the default for new docs, you have to use templates to get that

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the main problem it solves is having documents etc that are accessible to anyone in the company where ever they work. That means the ability to share and edit so we can collaborate on projects

  ### 2. Seamless All-in-One Business Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | CISO and Senior Technology Manager, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I love how Google Workspace seamlessly fills every business network and IT environment role, including SSO integration with most other mainstream platforms. It's impressive that it provides a top-tier centrally managed platform for user accounts, customized domain email, single sign-on, and an integrated app suite, doing everything that used to require a rack full of self-hosted servers and licensed software suites. Plus, the initial setup was easy because most of the work is done by Google.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Gmail search and navigation are clunky, message sorting and tagging are basic and restrictive.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace provides a top-tier, centrally managed platform, replacing the need for several servers and licensed suites. It fills every business role seamlessly, including SSO integration with mainstream platforms, all on a universal platform.

**Reviewed by:** Katie N. | Senior CRM Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

It's easy to find documents or past information others have created that I can use in my projects. E.g. when I'm new at a company I can search for anything on drive and find the context. ### 6. Seamless Real-Time Collaboration That Simplifies Teamwork

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

What I like best about Google Workspace is its seamless collaboration ecosystem. Tools like Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Meet integrate smoothly which allows real-time collaboration, version control, and easy document sharing without compatibility issues. The cloud-based accessibility ensures that teams can work from anywhere while maintaining centralized data storage and security. Also it's features like shared calendars, instant file updates, and integrated communication significantly improve coordination and productivity. Overall, it simplifies teamwork, reduces operational friction, and enhances efficiency across functions.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

What I dislike about Google Workspace is that while it is excellent for collaboration, some advanced features especially in Sheets and Docs can feel less powerful compared to specialized desktop software for complex data modeling or heavy document formatting. Also, managing permissions across large teams can sometimes become complex, particularly when files are widely shared. Occasional dependency on stable internet connectivity can also impact workflow in low-bandwidth environments. And for most day-to-day professional collaboration needs, the benefits significantly outweigh these limitations.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace solves the problem of fragmented communication and disconnected document management within teams. Instead of working across multiple tools with version conflicts and email-heavy coordination, everything documents, spreadsheets, presentations, meetings, and calendars is integrated into one ecosystem. It ensures real-time collaboration, instant updates, and centralized access to information. This reduces delays, prevents version confusion, and improves overall efficiency. It also enhances transparency, as shared drives and collaborative editing make it easy to track progress and align teams without constant follow-ups. Overall, it enables faster execution and smoother coordination across functions.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

G suite has always suited my requirements, so currently don't have any negative review for this, also maybe if company could bring its own powerful AI to help with daily tasks on workspace easier, that would be awesome.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in collaborating with team members in one place including meetings, excel data, scheduling meetings, data storage all on cloud platform.

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I like the seamless integration between Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs. It's genuinely useful for drafting documents, saving them to Drive, and sharing them by email all within the same ecosystem, without switching between apps. Everything is accessible from any device, making it easy to stay organized whether I'm at home or on the go. The storage is generous, and the interface is intuitive enough that there's very little learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

There are a lot of features that I don’t end up using because, as a non-tech-savvy person, I find them a bit overwhelming.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the seamless integration between Gmail, Drive, and Docs. I can draft a document, save it, and share it by email all within the same ecosystem. Everything is accessible from any device, making it easy to stay organized.

  ### 12. Effortless Collaboration, Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thamirys C. | User Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I like how Google Workspace keeps all of our documents online and makes it easy to share them with the team. It's excellent for collaboration. The calendar feature is extremely helpful too. I appreciate how easy it makes collaborating with others. The initial setup was very easy, which was a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

On Google Docs specifically, adding notes can become confusing. Both how to add them (getting it to be added exactly where you want it to be) and when it gets to a lot of notes on a document. Sometimes I want to add a note to a specific part of the text but it won't let me or it just doesn't end up where I actually selected. When it comes to a lot of notes, it gets confusing as to which part of the text each note is pointing to, especially if they are close together. It needs to be more distinctive.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace keeps all our documents online, making them easy to share and collaborate on with the team. The calendar is also extremely helpful.

  ### 13. Google Workspace: A Powerful Collaboration Hub with Constantly Improving Docs & Sheets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

There are so many things to like about Google Workspace. First, it is a great collaboration hub for distributed workforces because it is very easy to organize and share content whether it's in Google Drive or in individual apps like Sheets or Docs. We use Workspace all day every day as well as a competing cloud solution and consistently find Workspace is better. Second, Google has been doing a great job of adding functionality to the products within Workspace. One example is the addition of document tabs in Docs which has been transformative for us in terms of being able to structure informational content for the team such as project plans or test results. Another example is the wide variety of templates that have been added to Google Sheets, eliminating the need for adding additional specialty products to manage things like project & task management, campaigns, etc.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Where Google Workspace is still the weakest is Google Slides, which has not benefitted from the upgrades that apps like Sheets & Docs have seen. Slides is still somewhat inferior to other presentation apps in terms of design capabilities, ease of use, and file compatibility so we just don't use it (other than to view files we've created in other presentation apps and uploaded to Google Drive).

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace solves a number of business problems all in one convenient product - it gives us email at our company domain, a secure cloud storage solution with plenty of Drive space for internal materials and client-facing materials, secure sharing option for client materials, easy collaboration options for a distributed team, and robust features and functionality in Docs and Sheets that allow us to effectively plan, manage, and execute across many functions (client work product, marketing, HR, project management and more).

  ### 14. Comprehensive, Reliable, and Effortlessly Accessible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judi S. | Director of Resource Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I love that Google Workspace is cloud based, which means I don't need to carry around a specific device to find my documents. They're all there, and I can log in and find them from wherever I am in the world and on almost any device. The cloud-based capabilities are really helpful because if anything happens to my computer, phone, or any other device, I can still access all my information and documents from any other device.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Sometimes when I'm searching for something in Gmail or Google Calendar, certain things maybe don't come up, and I don't find them even though they should be there somewhere. Not sure why that's happening.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace backs up my calendar and offers reminders, making it easier to find things in emails as life gets busier. I love its cloud-based capabilities, allowing me access to documents from anywhere without relying on a specific device.

  ### 15. Essential for Collaboration and Reporting Excellence

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raghini G. | Lead Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

there are many things that i like in google workspace, i am Google workspace user from last 3 4 years, and i use gmail, sheets, docs, many times in a day always. Google sheets is central to my work for quick analysis, metric reviews and validation before sharing results with leadership, real time collaboration allows junior analysts to update data while i review insights at the same time. Google Docs and slides are very useful for documenting insights, assumptions and recommendations. they help standardize reporting across the team and ensure consistency is how results are presented.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

for large scale analytics or advanced modeling, workspace tools need to be paired with specialized data platform, also maintaining structure in shared drives requires good governance.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps us and me to manage both analytical work and team coordination , it supports collaboration between analysts, clients and leadership , making it easier to turn data insights into clear business decisions. it helps to solve the problem between data teams and clients. instead of sharing static files or long emails, insights explanations and feedback stay connected , which improves understanding and faster decision making. we use it for team collaboration and reviews of analysis, executive reporting and presentations. also the documentation of insights and assumptions are getting easy.

  ### 16. Empowers Fast, Clear Communication and Effortless Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaidehi W. | Sales Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

in my role speed and clarity matter a lot and Google workspace supports both. it makes it easy to stay on top of customer conversations. Gmail works smoothly even with high email volume. and its search helps me quickly find past conversation quotes or commitments made to clients. Google meet is a strong tool for remote selling, i use it for discovery calls, follow ups and negotiations. Joining meetings is simple for customers and screen sharing helps explain pricing , timelines or product flows without friction. Also the google slides is useful for quickly customizing pitch decks for different prospects. overall its very powerful and easy to use platform.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

its not a replacement for a CRM, so pipeline tracking still depends on integration, also handling large numbers of proposal file requires disciplined folder management.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps me to stay responsive to prospects, manage my daily sales routine, and stay aligned with internal team without juggling multiple tools. before using google workspace sales communication and documents were spread across tools now emails , meetings , notes and presentations are connected, which helps reduced missed follow ups and keep deals moving forward. i mostly use google meets for online sales meeting and demos, and Gmail for follow up tracking and calendar for planning.

  ### 17. Easy Access and Smooth M365 Document Conversions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane D. | Enterprise Sales Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

It’s easy to access and blends very well with M365 when converting documents. I also like how easy it is to search Google Drive directly from Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

I don’t like that Google Meet runs in a browser instead of being a dedicated app. During meetings, I end up closing the tab by accident all the time, which is really frustrating.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re a Google shop, and it’s pretty easy to use once you’ve made the transition from O365.

  ### 18. Effortless Collaboration and Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivangini R. | Content Writer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

What I appreciate most about Google Workspace is its user interface, which is straightforward and intuitive to use. Navigating through the platform is simple, and it conveniently brings all your tools, whether it's Docs or Spreadsheets, together in one place. Another major advantage is the real-time collaboration feature; everyone working on a project can instantly see updates, no matter where they are located. I also value the automatic saving of changes in documents and sheets, which means there's no need to worry about losing data if you forget to save manually.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

One problem I've encountered with Google Workspace, specifically in Spreadsheets, is related to entering data in a cell. If I start typing something in a cell but don't finish by pressing enter (which would move the cursor to the next cell) and instead switch to another tab for a while, when I return to complete my task, everything I had typed in that cell is lost. This means I have to remember and retype everything again, which can be quite frustrating.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Workspace regularly throughout my day. It plays a central role in our morning meetings, where we share our screens and review Sheets to check task assignments or add comments to various show entries. We also rely on Docs to read scripts, and I especially appreciate the ability to edit documents as either a viewer or a commentator. Email is another essential part of our workflow, as we frequently communicate with colleagues and others. Additionally, Google Calendar is extremely helpful, providing notifications 10 minutes before any scheduled meetings.

  ### 40. Feature-Rich, Low-Cost Workspace That Fits Small-Team Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

For a small scale, Google workspace provides a great deal of functionality (maybe even too much!) for very low cost. It's part of a platform that everyone is familiar with, and it does a decent job of fitting into a group workflow.

In addition to Gmail (probably the biggest draw) it provides a decent alternative to some core parts of Microsoft Office 365 - with Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc. Group Calendaring is very useful in keeping a group coordinated. It also gives you Google Photos - a convenient photo storage solution and Google Drive - a very convenient way to share files/collaborate with team members.

You can also easily share specific content with people outside your group - a folder of photos, a spreadsheet, etc. Being able to have more than one person editing a file at the same time can be very helpful, and when there are people outside the core organization that are involved, this becomes even more useful.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

The downside (of course) to something this powerful being low cost, is that you are giving Google access to your information. ("If you're not paying for the product, you are the product", etc.) They are obviously scanning every email with Gemini, and I would guess all your files (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc). For my use-case, it's not a direct concern, but if we were working with more sensitive content, it would be.

The group workspace admin can be a bit overwhelming at first, if you're a casual user setting up a group, but it's also very possible to use a really limited subset of the workspace to keep things more simple. You can then grow into the fuller capabilities.

One improvement would be clearer guidance in the initial set-up of a group. The Gmail philosophy of "throw everything into a big bucket, and then have great search to pull out what you need" is evident throughout Google Workspace, as well. But when you're starting (or your users are not comfortable with technology), you don't even know what to ask for. It can seem very overwhelming, and it's easy to make structural mistakes until you have a better feel for the overall suite.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am responsible for all the technology/communications functions of a medium sized non-profit. Almost all of our work is done with/by non-technical volunteers that typically stay in a specific role for up to two years. We need things to work easily and smoothly, while still maintaining a structure that can survive the rotation of people through the roles.

Google Workspace has helped us improve our detailed operations, so everyone isn't working from their own local spreadsheets, documents, etc - we can transfer over a role-based email account when we have, say, a new treasurer or secretary - all the history is maintained, including emails, files, etc. This makes it much easier for a new person to step into a role and become productive quickly and comfortably.

We have added to the functionality we use over time - in the beginning, we primarily used the Gmail function (we can have individual emails with our own website address, managed through Google Workspace - very useful.) Over time, we've added many of the typical office-type functions for all our key roles - Sheets, Docs, Drive, Photos, Forms, etc. There is a lot more - a growing AI capability, specifically - that we are exploring.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepali J. | Retail Planner, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

At Fossil, we rely on Google Workspace for nearly all of our tasks, whether it's Gmail, Chat, Meet, Google Keep, or more. The platform offers a versatile set of features, providing a unified space where everything can be managed efficiently. I am in the process of transferring all my files from Excel to Google Sheets. The integration with GCP is seamless, and the live updates save time by eliminating the need to manually refresh data.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Docs and Sheets are missing some advanced features, such as sophisticated formatting options, robust analytics on par with Excel, and support for complex macros. As a result, power users may find these tools limiting for their needs.

Google Meet also feels quite basic, especially when compared to Zoom. It lacks the polish needed for large meetings, webinars, and offers limited recording controls. The overall experience is functional but does not feel premium.

While there is an offline mode, it is not seamless. Setting it up requires manual steps, and the experience is often frustrating, particularly in environments with poor connectivity.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has made my life much easier, especially when working with Google Sheets. Since everything is saved online, I no longer have to worry about saving data manually or losing hours of work. Its integration with GCP is excellent. Data refreshes and updates quickly, which allows for smooth and seamless business analysis reports.

  ### 48. Seamless Collaboration and Easy Setup with Google Workspace

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayan B. | Senior System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

I use Google Workspace mainly for my daily office work, as it helps me manage emails with Gmail, create and edit documents in Google Docs, make spreadsheets in Google Sheets, and prepare presentations using Google Slides. I also use Google Drive to store files safely and share them easily with my team. What I like most is how easy it makes working and collaborating with others. I can share files instantly, work on documents at the same time as my team, and see changes in real time. Everything is saved automatically, so I don’t have to worry about losing my work. It works smoothly across devices, making my daily work faster and more convenient. Google Workspace is simple to use, reliable, and very helpful for both individual and team work, keeping my work organized and improving productivity. The initial setup was quite easy for my team, and the interface is simple and familiar, allowing us to start using it without much training.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

One thing that could be improved in Google Workspace is offline access. Some features don’t work fully without an internet connection, which can be inconvenient at times. Also, managing storage space can be a bit confusing, especially when Drive, Gmail, and Photos share the same limit. Apart from that, advanced features in Docs or Sheets sometimes feel limited compared to traditional desktop software.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Workspace for managing emails, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and file storage. It simplifies teamwork by enabling real-time collaboration, even on the same file. Everything's cloud-based, so I can work from anywhere, boosting my productivity and keeping my work organized.

  ### 49. Practical and collaborative: automatic saving and efficient shared editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xiomara D. | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

First, being virtual, it is very practical for me. Second, I can work on anything and it saves automatically, so the risk of losing the document is low. Additionally, being able to share documents and have other people edit them helps to be more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

In my experience, sometimes it tends to take a while to save; visually, it might need an improvement.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More than anything, I work with shared documents with my colleagues where the information is instant, and the benefit I get is efficiency when it comes to reports or if a problem arises, solve it.

  ### 50. All-in-One Workspace That Simplifies Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominique B. | Senior Customer Support Manager, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Workspace?**

Google Workspace allows me to keep all of my important workspaces organized in one place. I can usually spend most of my day working within Google Workspace, except when I need to use our specialized software like Zendesk or Data Dashboards. It's really convenient to have access to Sheets, Docs, and Mail, and to store everything in Drive. Sharing files with my colleagues is also very straightforward, which makes collaboration much easier.

**What do you dislike about Google Workspace?**

Some aspects of Google Workspace, particularly Slides and Docs, seem a bit outdated compared to competitors. As we use these tools within our organization, I find them somewhat clunky and not as user-friendly as other programs. An update to improve their usability would be welcome.

**What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Workspace addresses the challenge of using multiple programs by bringing them together in a single suite, making it easy for our remote company to collaborate and access everything we need. It simplifies my work because I can quickly reach a variety of features all in one place, and I can effortlessly drag and drop what I need to share with colleagues, all without any hassle.
