What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

The multi-tiered storage options (Standard, Nearline, Coldline, and Archive) are excellent. They let our organization optimize storage costs by seamlessly moving infrequently accessed data to the more affordable tiers, without disrupting access when we need it. What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

The pricing structure can feel quite complex, making it hard to estimate costs accurately. In particular, egress fees (the cost of transferring data out of the cloud) can add up quickly and lead to unexpectedly high monthly bills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Cloud Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It addresses the challenge of efficiently storing massive volumes of unstructured data. The biggest advantage for us is that it securely organizes our data into different, cost-effective tiers, while still letting us seamlessly connect it to powerful analytics tools like BigQuery for fast processing.
