What do you like best about Google Cloud Monitoring?

As an ITIL Consultant, what stands out most is Google Cloud’s reliability, scalability, and alignment with modern ITSM principles. GCP’s services like Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Operations Suite enable clear visibility and traceability — key for incident and problem management.

The platform makes it easy to implement service automation, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines while maintaining robust governance through IAM and policy-based controls.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Monitoring?

From a consulting standpoint, GCP's pricing model — particularly around networking and data egress — often needs to be explained in detail to clients.
