What do you like best about Google Cloud Managed Service for Apache Spark?

Don't have to manage or size clusters ourselves, it just scales as needed.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Managed Service for Apache Spark?

Documentation is still a bit thin compared to other GCP services, had to dig around for some configs.

Pricing can get confusing when jobs run longer than expected, wish cost visibility was clearer upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Cloud Managed Service for Apache Spark solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were spending too much time provisioning and tuning Spark clusters manually before this. Now the team just submits jobs without worrying about node sizing or cluster lifecycle management.

It's also cut down our time-to-insight since jobs start faster and scale automatically during peak loads.

Integration with BigQuery and Cloud Storage means less time moving data around between services.

Overall it's freed up our engineers to focus on actual data pipelines instead of infra babysitting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
