What do you dislike about Google Cloud Interconnect? Google Cloud Interconnect has multiple challenges starting with the rather complex provisioning procedure which requires careful configuration. The pricing arrangement is thought costly and requires a necessary trade-offs between feature requirement versus the budget. However, configurations for dedicated interconnect are too complicated and lower user experience and limit the scalability capability. Tech savvy, integration options are limited and the service is not compatible with other cloud providers for multi-cloud approach. Further, the pricing of networking comes across as too expensive with no consideration for other cost-effective alternatives such Softlayer.
