While being completely anonymous data they can show you a lot about your visitors,

It helps a lot for different types of sites including e-commerce, landing pages, marketing sites, portfolios, etc.

You can track goals, conversions and make funnels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential tool for understanding user behavior and performance"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics provides deep, reliable insights into user behavior, traffic sources, and conversions. It helps me clearly understand how users interact with websites, which channels drive quality traffic, and where drop-offs happen in the funnel. The integration with Google Ads, Search Console, and other Google tools makes performance analysis and optimization much more effective. It is extremely powerful for data-driven decision making in marketing and SEO Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The biggest challenge is the learning curve, especially with GA4. The interface and event-based tracking model can feel complex for new users, and some standard reports require customization. Data sampling and delays in real-time accuracy can also be confusing at times. Better documentation and simpler default reports would improve usability for beginners. "Steep Learning Curve and Complex Reporting Diminish Google Analytics Experience"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I like best about Google Analytics is the depth of insights it provides into user behavior across the entire customer journey. It allows us to track traffic sources, user engagement, and conversions in one place, helping us make data-driven marketing decisions. The real-time reporting, customizable dashboards, and seamless integration with other Google products like Google Ads and Search Console make it especially powerful for performance analysis and optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The downside of GA is its learning curve, especially with GA4. The interface and reporting structure are not very intuitive at first, and finding specific metrics or building custom reports can take time. Some standard reports that were easily accessible in Universal Analytics now require extra configuration, and sampling or data discrepancies can occasionally make analysis less straightforward. "Unmatched Clarity and Insights for Website Performance"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I appreciate most about Google Analytics is the clarity with which it reveals user behavior on the website. It provides both real-time and historical insights into traffic sources, user journeys, conversions, and drop-offs, making it easier to pinpoint what is effective and what could be improved. The platform’s features for tracking goals, events, and funnels are particularly valuable for data-driven marketing and optimizing performance across different channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

What I dislike about Google Analytics is that if you want to see which companies are visiting your website, how many there are, and what pages they’re viewing, you can’t get that directly—it requires additional software or tools to get that level of insight. "Indispensable Data Despite a Frustrating Experience"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I like best is its seamless integration with the entire Google ecosystem. Connecting it to Google Ads and Google Search Console unlocks another level of insight, allowing us to see how our ad spend and SEO efforts translate into actual user behavior. It is the definitive source of truth for all of our website traffic data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Let's be honest, the user experience is a real challenge. The interface feels like it was designed for data scientists, not for the marketers and business owners who rely on it daily. Finding specific data points often feels like a treasure hunt. While the tool is powerful, you have to fight the interface to unlock that power, which is a significant and unnecessary drain on time and energy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Insights and Real-Time Tracking Made Easy"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics gives me a complete picture of how users find and interact with our website. I can easily track traffic sources, top-performing pages, and conversion paths—all in real time. The detailed metrics and custom reports help me make smarter decisions and measure the actual impact of marketing campaigns with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics can feel complicated and takes time to learn, especially with GA4’s new setup and interface changes. Some important reports require custom configuration, and it’s easy to get lost in too many metrics. Data sampling and delays can also make it harder to get precise real-time insights. Overall, it’s powerful—but not always beginner-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless to Use with Powerful Analytics Features"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I use Google Analytics to analyze marketing data for various pages like my product and solution pages, blogs, and to understand user journeys, engagement, and bounce rates. It helps me in understanding different page performances and user behavior. What I like most about Google Analytics is that it's easy to use, and the freeform and page path features are really useful. I get most of the important engagement metrics that I need. I use the freeform feature to find landing pages that led to demos and pricing pages, and also form fill-ups. The page path feature helps me analyze the entire user journey before they take an action, like filling out a demo or pricing form. The initial setup was very easy, and I'd give it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommending it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I dislike that the scroll depth tracking feature is missing and could be added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
