What I like best about golioth is how easy it makes managing my esp32s. I can not speak about all the features that golioth offers, but the features that i am using most of the time are: Device management and OTA updates. With device management, I can create templates, expand or upscale my project. I love using flags and filters. The process of connecting iot device such as esp32 is very straightforward. It saves me the hassle of going up to my roof to reprogram my esp32 :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing i do not like about it is the inability to use golioth with my arduino ide. Sadly i have to install golioth firmware SDK as a component of the ESP-IDF which is not my preferred way of proramming devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have sent your feedback to our product team. However, for the moment, you may use the suggested approach to using Arduino with Golioth which we've written about on our blog. It sounds like that's what you're doing.
