"Revolutionization in team interaction and instant messaging solution by Gitter"

What do you like best about Gitter?

The best part about gitter is the seamless integration with github repository. It helped my fellow developers in code reviews and resolving code conflicts. It is very easy to use and implement on local systems. The accessibility for gitter is available on both the desktop and web application. The user interface is quite intuitive and made the user journey very easy. The customer support is very helpful and it addresses majority of the issues. We are frequently using gitter as compared to other collaboration tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gitter?

The least helpful about gitter is that it is solely for developers and cannot be used by other departments such as PMO if they want to interact with development issues and prepare logs. It is much more dependent on github and it does not allow other repos. It does not provide offline feature as the user needs to be connected to internet and once there is no internet connectivity then all the changes are lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gitter solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main issue we were facing was related to real-time collaboration between the developers which has been resolved by gitter. All the related code-centric conversations can be based on the particular repo so that it can serve as the archive for new developers to maintain the codebase.
