The best part about gitter is the seamless integration with github repository. It helped my fellow developers in code reviews and resolving code conflicts. It is very easy to use and implement on local systems. The accessibility for gitter is available on both the desktop and web application. The user interface is quite intuitive and made the user journey very easy. The customer support is very helpful and it addresses majority of the issues. The least helpful about gitter is that it is solely for developers and cannot be used by other departments such as PMO if they want to interact with development issues and prepare logs. It is much more dependent on github and it does not allow other repos.
