"GitHub Makes Learning and Code Organization Effortless"

5/5

What do you like best about GitHub?

As someone learning programming and building projects, I find GitHub useful for keeping my code organised and tracking changes over time. I also enjoy exploring other developers' projects and learning from their approaches and shared contributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitHub?

As a beginner, I sometimes find GitHub's interface a little overwhelming, especially when working with branches, pull requests, and repository settings. It takes some time to understand everything, and the learning curve can be slightly frustrating initially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GitHub solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an ECE student learning C++ and DSA while building personal projects, GitHub helps me keep all my code in one place instead of managing multiple files locally. I can track my progress, revisit older versions, and share projects whenever needed. It also makes collaboration easier through branches and pull requests. Integrations with development tools make my workflow smoother, while GitHub Actions helps automate repetitive tasks. I particularly find exploring open-source repositories useful for understanding how experienced developers structure real-world projects. Overall, it saves time, keeps my work organised, and gives me a practical environment to grow as a developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
