What do you like best about giflayer API?

giflayer API was* (it is currently not active) extremely user friendly, the final product (gif) is seamless and smooth (30 FPS at max but you can customize this) and the tools (crop, resize, customizable fps, start/end points, etc.) allow you to really customize your gif. You could also choose your payment frequency which I find to be really helpful. You had the option to use it without signing up as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about giflayer API?

As of now you are unable to add a text overlay (or at least I've not found a way to do so). They've also suspended the product for now due to limited usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering giflayer API:

If you will be creating content daily I would recommend basic or pro versions but if you will only be creating content a few times a month then stick with the trial version (maximum of 25 gifs/month).

This isn't a program that is for the average influencer/user. Some knowledge of coding will be necessary but only a very basic knowledge.

I shopped around a bit prior to committing to giflayer API and found that the ROI was the best (I have the pro version) bang for my buck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is giflayer API solving and how is that benefiting you?

With running large social media accounts centered around memes and gifs I was facing a hard time of finding content that wasn't already circulating as well as finding the original creators to give due credit. giflayer API has made creating content much easier and has helped the social media accounts to have more validity.
