I love how easy it is to communicate with my volunteers and get them plugged into our organization. It has allowed us to streamline the process of getting volunteers involved within The Dream Center and keeping them plugged in. I also love how it tracks volunteer hours and keeps a record of them. It's a struggle to get older volunteers to sign up since technology can be intimidating for some. It is also difficult to get people to respond to needs within the organization. Some of our volunteers are skeptical of this program given their age, so it has been hard to get them to understand how the software works and how user friendly it actually is. It has helped keep track of our volunteer hours better, and we can communicate with our volunteers more easily by using the email blasts and texts. We have found that it has streamlined the process of getting volunteers and retaining them because our communication with the volunteers has improved tremendously by switching to this software.
