"Very user friendly note-taking software"

What do you like best about Genio Notes?

We've used Glean as a note-taking resource for college students for a little over one year. It's great for online lectures/Zoom meetings and webinars. Users can record the audio from the meeting while also opting to type in notes. There are labels for Important, Review, etc. When the session has ended, users can go back and click on what they've typed and hear that exact portion of the audio. This product can also be used to take notes "in-person" if attending lectures or face-to-face meetings. When we've contacted tech support with students' questions, we've been provided with prompt, efficient customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Genio Notes?

Through no fault of the software, if your internet connection is slow, you will hear choppy audio, and that will be reflected in the audio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Genio Notes solving and how is that benefiting you?

We initially began using Glean when we switched to all online classes. Glean is used for note-taking and frequently helps users keep track of what was discussed in the class, meeting or webinar. Since it's easy to use and does not present the user with a cluttered screen, we've found that it isn't as confusing to those that are new to the software. There are also short training videos on their site and a user/administrative group that frequently has webinars on topics pertaining to note-taking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
