I like that Gemma 3 4B is quick and doesn't need a lot of resources to run. I use it for writing, summarizing, answering questions, and trying out ideas. It is also easy to run locally, so I don't have to depend on a paid service for every task. For a 4B model, the quality is pretty good and it gives me good value for simple day to day work. The main issue for me is that it can struggle with more complex questions and sometimes gives answers that need to be checked. It is also not as capable as larger models for deeper reasoning. Since it runs locally, setup can take a little time if you are not familiar with the tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
