I like the visibility that Gem gives you into what is and what is not working. As a recruiter I am in-mailing candidates and setting them up in email sequences which helps me provide consistent follow up on candidates who may rarely check Linkedin. I dislike how Gem adds a few extra layers into the in-mailing process. To be able to accurately track my activity I need to save candidates to a project in Linkedin, save them to a CSV, upload to a project in Gem, message them in Linkedin, log the outreach, and then add to a sequence.
