What do you like best about Gearset DevOps?

What I like best about Gearset DevOps is how powerful it is. It gives me excellent visibility into merge requests, deployments, merge conflicts, code reviews, and rollback options, making the entire release process much easier to manage. The automation and overall workflow have significantly improved our development and deployment process. It’s an incredibly capable platform and has become an essential part of our DevOps toolkit. What do you dislike about Gearset DevOps?

My biggest frustration is that some new features are released as trials and later require an additional paid upgrade to continue using them. I would prefer that platform enhancements and new functionality be included with the existing subscription rather than becoming separate add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gearset DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?

Gearset has solved many of the challenges we used to face with Salesforce deployments. It provides reliable version control, full Git synchronization, merge conflict detection and resolution, and rollback capabilities that give us confidence during releases. Compared to the old Change Set deployment process, it’s a massive improvement in both reliability and efficiency.

One of the features I value most is the ability to compare and deploy changes between any Salesforce org or Git branch. That flexibility, combined with the visibility into deployments and source control, has streamlined our development process, reduced deployment risk, and made collaboration across the team much easier.
