The automated review requests are what deliver the most value for me. I work across several podiatry clinics, and before GatherUp my clients relied on front desk staff to remember to ask for reviews, which meant it rarely happened. Now a patient is seen, the request fires automatically, happy patients get routed to a public Google review, and anyone unhappy gets a private channel to the practice first. That alone took review generation from sporadic to consistent, and review volume and recency are two of the biggest factors Google weighs for local "podiatrist near me" searches.

On UI and workflow, the unified dashboard is the feature I touch most. Pulling reviews from Google and other platforms into one screen means I'm not logging into separate sites for each client, which saves me time every reporting cycle when I'm checking reputation across the whole roster.

For ROI, the math is simple on the client side. The biggest gap for me is the lack of EMR integration. My clients run podiatry systems like TRAKnet, Sammy, and ModMed, and GatherUp doesn't connect to them. That means getting patient contact info into GatherUp takes a manual upload or front desk entry rather than review requests triggering automatically off the day's completed appointments. For a busy clinic, anything that depends on staff doing an extra manual step is a step that sometimes gets skipped.
