What do you like best about Funnel?

Even in areas where Funnel may not excel at the moment, the customer support team has been essential to helping us implement this platform in our reporting/analytics workflow. They've been nothing short of responsive, receptive and helpful when we have questions or suggestions, and they're more than willing to explore creating new API connections for platforms they don't currently support. What do you dislike about Funnel?

I think the biggest downside to Funnel at the time of writing this review is the hit-or-miss knowledge base. Although you'll find maybe 80% of the answers you need to certain questions, it's harder than it should be for novice users to make the most out of Funnel. If you're new to this type of platform, be ready to go through quite a bit of trial and error, but lean on their support team for help if you can. I'd also note that Funnel's data visualization tools are limited; however, through their own admission, they don't claim to be a data-visualizing platform — and the real power comes from being able to connect up to Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Funnel:

Work closely with their sales and support team to find out exactly how they can help your business with Funnel. Chances are, if they don't have a feature or support something that you need to right now, they'll be willing to work on updating their platform to support it. Also, if you're a novice user like I was when I first started with it (i.e., a lot of marketers might not be super familiar with how Funnel can help them right away), jump in and don't worry about making mistakes along the way. The knowledge base and the support team should be able to help you with the vast majority if any issues you run into, but a lot of your expertise with this platform will likely come from trial and error. What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing spends across all digital platforms has always been a major challenge, and Funnel allows us to visualize actual vs. budgeted spends on a monthly basis at a glance. In addition, we're currently working Funnel into our monthly reporting workflow, which has always been a massive headache due to its manual nature. Funnel will help us streamline and automate much of that workflow and allow us to focus on analysis and recommendations rather than building reports every month. "Excellent Integrations Across All Major Paid & Social Media Platforms for Data Analysis"

What do you like best about Funnel?

The free plan provides integration with nearly all major social media platforms and paid channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads. Connecting it to Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) is very straightforward. There are numerous connectors available, such as Amazon, Apple, Meta, Google Ads, Analytics, and Search Console—truly more options than I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Funnel.io assisted me with integrating data analysis for Instagram and Facebook across our social media platforms, covering both organic and paid growth as well as analytics. Since Looker Studio does not provide any free connectors for Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Ads by default, Funnel.io made it possible for me to easily create a visualization dashboard. I no longer needed to extract data into Google Sheets and then connect it to Looker. To my surprise, I was able to handle all my integrations and data visualizations within the free tier, which exceeded my expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Funnel?

Funnel makes it very easy to connect all our relevant marketing and analytics data sources in one place and keep them synced automatically. I really like how the connected fields work – once the mappings are set up, building visualisations and reports is straightforward and consistent across channels. What do you dislike about Funnel?

There is a bit of a learning curve when you first start configuring data sources and field mappings, especially if you have a complex setup. Some connectors and transformations can also take a while to process when large volumes of data are involved. What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?

Funnel is basically our peace treaty with messy marketing data. Before it, we were Frankensteining reports together from a dozen platforms, copy‑pasting into spreadsheets and hoping the columns lined up. Now Funnel hoovers up all our sources, tidies them, and serves everything as clean, connected fields straight into our dashboards. "Not a flexible and scalable software"

What do you like best about Funnel?

It used to be affordable and came with support, but then they changed their model and no longer provide support. They do have a great connector for Looker Studio, but there are limits on how much data you can connect from each platform, which is the same issue with other ETL tools. What do you dislike about Funnel?

They have time zone issues with their support. At the core, they are just an ETL tool, so you can’t do much beyond that. They charge fees even for basic connectors like Power BI. Their new models are expensive, and they also require a 30-day notice for cancellations. Their support, especially Hannah, is not very friendly.
