What do you like best about Freelancer.com?

As a developer, the main advantage for me is access to a steady stream of clients that I would hardly reach otherwise. I can browse projects that match my skills and apply only to those that truly interest me, saving a significant amount of time compared to direct searching. The support has also proven to be responsive: the account verification was completed within the day, with clear instructions on the required documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?

What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an independent developer I do not have a sales team, so finding new clients used to depend almost entirely on word of mouth and local contacts. Freelancer.com solves that: it gives me a continuous stream of project requests and puts me in contact with clients outside my geographical area, which would be hard to reach on my own. It also removes the administrative friction of the first contact, since scope, budget and expectations are already stated in the project post before I decide whether to bid.
