The time savings. Before I was using this, creating patient education materials meant either hiring a designer or spending hours customizing templates. Now I log in, find the template I need, edit it directly on the platform to add my practice name and logo, and I'm done in 5 minutes. I save the customized version so I don't redo the same handout twice.
I use these in three places: during patient consultations to reinforce what I've explained, printed in the waiting room, and included in post-visit summaries. Since they're professionally designed and patient-friendly, patients actually read them instead of throwing them away.
The fact that it's free with no restrictions on use is the biggest win. I don't have to think about whether I'm getting ROI or worry about subscription costs eating into my margins. I just download what I need and use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The editing features are pretty basic. If I want to do simple customization like adding my logo or changing a few words, it works fine. But there's no advanced formatting, so any complex edits mean downloading the PDF and doing it in Word or another program. It's not a deal-breaker since most handouts don't need heavy editing, but it would be more convenient if I could do everything on the platform.
Also, I wish there were more specialty areas covered. The 14 they have covers my main practice areas, but if I needed materials for something more niche, I'd have to create from scratch or find templates elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
