What do you like best about Fred?

Fred stands out as a genuinely all-in-one UX research platform that removes the need to juggle multiple tools throughout the research lifecycle. The ability to move from study design to participant recruitment, data collection, analysis, and reporting within a single workspace noticeably improves efficiency and cuts down on context switching.

I especially value the flexibility across research methods, from surveys and card sorting to moderated and unmoderated usability testing, paired with real-time data collection and visualisation. It makes it easier to iterate quickly and uncover insights without having to rely on external tools.

Collaboration is another major strength. The report builder and tagging system make it straightforward to align stakeholders and turn raw data into actionable insights. What do you dislike about Fred?

Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. If anything, because it’s quite a complete platform, it can take a bit of time at the beginning to get fully comfortable with all the features.

What problems is Fred solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Fred, our research process felt pretty scattered. We were using different tools for surveys, usability tests, recruiting participants, and then something else for analysis. It worked, but it was messy and time-consuming, and insights often got lost or siloed. Fred really helped us bring everything into one place. Now we can go from setting up a study to sharing results without jumping between tools, which saves a lot of time and just makes the whole process smoother. It also makes it easier to run research more regularly instead of it being this big, heavy effort every time. One thing that’s made a big difference is how easy it is to share insights with the rest of the team. Instead of research sitting in docs that no one reads, it’s much more accessible, so product and design actually use it in their decisions.
