## Framer Reviews
  ### 1. No support, DO NOT use for anything that resembles a serious project

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nar C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I made a huge mistake by choosing this platform. They do not provide support for even paid plans.

They tell you to post on community thread where nobody can help. If you have a serious project, do not use this platform. It's all good until you hit any minor issue and you will regret this decision.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Has nice interface to build websites but there are alternatives with actual support.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Built a website

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Hey there, thanks for sharing your experience with Framer. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that our support didn’t meet your expectations—especially during a critical project. We definitely understand how important reliable support is when you’re working on something serious.

While our community is an excellent place for advice and tips, we know that some situations require a more direct touch. We’re always looking to improve, so your feedback is super valuable. Please reach out to us at framer.com, and we’d love to try and make things right for you.

  ### 2. Best Easy to use no code website builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreyas S. | Community Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The best thing about Framer is that it is very easy to use, you can build an entire website just by drag and drop.
I built my entire portfolio in just 4 hours, which would have taken days if it had been done in a traditional coding way.
All the options are very easy to use, framer was also provided with a lot of tutorials to help me get started the web design journey. In my opinion, it's the best no-code tool that I have used to date.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

There is nothing as such that i dislike about framer, because it provides all the features that i wanted.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Framer to build my entire portfolio, I also used Framer to build a small website using its easy-to-use template.
All I have to do sometimes is just select a ready-to-use template and just replace that content.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that Framer's ease of use and the drag-and-drop feature enabled you to build your entire portfolio in just 4 hours, saving you days of work. It's great to know that our tutorials were helpful as you embarked on your web design journey. Your experience truly highlights the value we sim bring to users looking for an efficient, no-code solution.

We're also glad to hear that you haven't encountered any aspects of Framer you dislike and that our features meet all your needs. That's exactly what we aim for!

  ### 3. Bad Pricing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammed G. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Design & develop at the same time. Advanced Interactions and animations.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Pricing policy. Adding locale languages is not something you can even dream. $15 = 1 locale. If you want to add more, $40/per locale + $75/month for site plan.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accelarating the web development process. Ease of use. Advanced animations and world class website development.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Hi there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for highlighting the benefits of Framer, like the advanced animations and streamlined web development process—we’re thrilled to hear it’s speeding things up for you! 🎉

  ### 8. A powerful prototyping and design tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer stands out as a robust prototyping and design tool, offering several advantages that cater to the needs of designers and developers. One notable advantage is Framer's emphasis on interactive and realistic prototyping. The platform allows users to create highly interactive and dynamic prototypes, providing a more accurate representation of the final product's user experience. Framer's integration with popular design tools like Sketch and Figma facilitates a seamless workflow, enabling users to import their designs effortlessly. The platform's coding capabilities, based on the widely-used React framework, empower designers to implement complex interactions and animations, bridging the gap between design and development. Framer's real-time collaboration features enhance teamwork, enabling designers and developers to work together on the same project simultaneously. Additionally, Framer's extensive component library and reusable design elements contribute to increased design consistency and efficiency. Overall, Framer excels in empowering designers and developers to create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes that closely resemble the final user interface, fostering collaboration and efficiency throughout the design and development process.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

While Framer is a powerful tool for interactive prototyping and design, it does come with some potential disadvantages. One notable drawback is the steeper learning curve compared to other design tools. Framer's emphasis on coding and its integration with React may be challenging for designers who are not familiar with programming concepts. This learning curve can potentially slow down the onboarding process and hinder quick adoption by design teams. Additionally, the robust features of Framer come with a higher price point compared to some other design tools, which could be a limiting factor for smaller design teams or individual users with budget constraints. Furthermore, the reliance on coding for certain interactions may lead to a more technical and less visual design process, potentially limiting the creative freedom of designers who prefer a more visual approach. Despite these disadvantages, Framer remains a powerful tool for those who prioritize advanced prototyping and are willing to invest the time in mastering its capabilities.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to design a new website, and wanted to try an alternative instead of Figma. Framer was really useful for my purpose

  ### 9. Elevate ur website by powerful prototyping features

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Despite it is user friendly it has steep learning curve that causes user to learn more about learning curve and it cost more feature to unlocked for which we have to unlock its premium features which i think it too costly.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer gave me wide amout of solutions like to build an website and web blog without using any complicated codes and its interactive prototyping things making a creative problem solving in the dynamic design and user interactiins

  ### 10. This app saved my career!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlon B. | Principal UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

From a practical standpoint, I love the ability to use the latest and greatest widgets, code snippets, npm packages (on github, codepen or sandboxes anywhere) in my designs and prototypes. From the standpoint of design systems and prototyping, once you get your head around its way of working, it gradually improves the fidelity of your designs in handoff to production (if you take the time to work with and understand flexbox and CSS properties). It took us about a year to fully transition from Sketch, Zeplin and Abstract. Along the way you come up many ways to use production code in your design system and vice versa. It gets your dev team collaborating with designers better, as each are learning to speak the other's language (a lot more than before)

No coding is required to put Framer into practice, but there is a learning curve (as you might expect with a transition to anything new - Figma, Marvel, Webflow, Invsion, etc) there will be some tradeoffs likely with your existing workflow. I feel I am better for the learning curve, as I now understand responsive web design and the capabilities of CSS / React far better and ultimately the process adjustments have resulted in massive time savings and efficiency. I actually look forward to my job each day exploring the endless extensibility of React in Framer to improve our design process and productivity.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

They have made ventures into adjacent markets like CMS, Web Publishing and Animation, which are very much welcomed... but without completing core needs to establish Framer as a designer's tool of choice. My hit list would be: better component library management, design systems (for large scale sites) across projects, teams, and sites, and, icon library integrations. A generic icon component the user could set up themselves without code would be most ideal. SVG and support for basic editing is very limited.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer tries to solve many problems. It solves prototyping 100%, design systems 80%, interaction design 100%, graphic design 50%. Once you have a design system in place, it helps us quickly deliver hi-fi mockups of new features to teams internally. Having a prototype for support, sales and end users to play with helps attract and retain customers in an enterprise setting, and keeps the conversation and feedback rolling.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Thank you for your positive review of Framer. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear about the benefits you've experienced.

We appreciate your suggestions for improvement, such as better component library management, enhanced design systems, and icon library integrations. Your feedback is important as we continue to enhance the platform.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Your feedback is invaluable in our ongoing efforts to provide an exceptional experience with Framer.

  ### 11. The road to no-code interface designing has been made easy with applications like Framer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nidhi B. | Content Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has helped me and my clients mostly in making really cool landing pages in seconds with easy to use tools and interface. We were able to implement its super cool features on its beautiful layout. We even added effects that made our pages even more attractive than usual. We have to give hats off for their integration with Figma that has enabled us to import our deigns from Figma and enhance it in Framer.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Their customer support is the only aspect of their service we had issues against. At times we were in confusion and upon contact they were slightly less responsive. Also they can remove the framer.ai domain and let us use our custom domain for some days in the trial period to really calculate the usefulness of it.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer has solved our needs of urgent editing and uploading landing pages for our clients and social media accounts in ease. Their service has been really excellent all throughout. The number of services and tools they had for us in their toolkit was really impressive allowing us to gain hyper-cool and attractive web pages with ease and almost no requirement of coding experience. This platform will surely turn our to be the future of UI/UX design. Their integration with other platforms like Figma is what makes Framer so irreplaceable. We are really happy and satisfied from their services as we built a SEO friendly website that attracts adequate number of traffic every month.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for your wonderful review of Framer! It's fantastic to hear how our tool has streamlined the creation of cool and effective landing pages for you and your clients. We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding our customer support and the suggestion about custom domain usage during the trial period. We understand how important prompt and effective support is, and we're continually working on improving our responsiveness and the overall customer experience. ### 12. Great tool to build websites and mvp faster powered by AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shobhit G. | Product Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

As a UX/UI Designer heavily involved in product prototyping, Framer has been an indispensable tool in my arsenal. What stands out most about Framer is its robust set of features, especially its ease of creating interactive prototypes. The ability to seamlessly transition from design to code using its intuitive interface is a game-changer. The wide array of pre-built components and the flexibility to create custom ones have significantly expedited my prototyping process, enabling me to explore various design possibilities efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

One aspect that could be improved upon is the learning curve for beginners. While Framer offers extensive functionalities, it might be slightly daunting for newcomers or those transitioning from other design tools. Additionally, certain advanced features might require a bit more documentation or tutorials for users to fully harness their potential.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to create complex animations and micro-interactions effortlessly has allowed me to bring my designs to life, providing stakeholders and clients with a tangible feel of the end product. The real-time collaboration features have also streamlined teamwork, facilitating smoother interactions and feedback exchanges among team members, regardless of their geographic location.

  ### 13. Dysfunctional support and gaslighting

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaideep G. | Powering leasing infrastructure , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Framer?**

All is good until you run into an issue. Then it's a living hell to deal with these people.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Hey, it will be a week soon since my website is dysfunctional because of framer unable to generate a simple invoice from stripe and send it across. I have sent 50+ emails, Twitter and reddit posts and comments but no resolution in sight. How such a company exists is beyond apprehension!

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer did help me build a landing page with good seo quickly.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Hey Jaideep, thanks for your review! I’m sorry you feel this way about our support. I have double-checked with our support team and they’ve been actively working with you on your issue, sorry if this experience wasn’t satisfactory on your end. The team has since also applied extra credit to your account to resolve the issue you were having and compensate you. We take this feedback seriously and are always improving our support offering! Hope everything works out :)

Still happy Framer was able to provide a good landing page for you. Sorry again!

  ### 14. Amazing tool for no code modern web design and publishing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer enables designers to create advanced web designs fast, and get them published in no time. It has a lot of sophisticated features in a very clean and intuitive UI. Easy to learn and powerful in its capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

At the moment, the CMS has some limitations when it comes to using it for blog posts with multiple inline media in the post content. But at the pace of great quality updates that the company is making to the platform, this should become a non issue anytime soon.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am moving my business website and all marketing pages from WordPress to Framer. The ability to quickly set new pages, design new layouts, keep consistency throught the website, publish changes quickly... is magnificent. Though the transition implies a lot of work in recreating pages previously in WP, the time that will be saved in the future and the ability to enhance and revamp the design is worth the effort.

  ### 15. Framer is awesome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

The flexibility and versatility of the tool have allowed me to experiment and explore new design techniques, resulting in truly unique and captivating user experiences.

However, it's important to note that Framer does come with a learning curve. Some aspects of the tool can be a bit tricky to grasp initially, especially for beginners. But I personally view this as a positive challenge that pushes me to learn and grow as a designer. With dedication and practice, I have been able to overcome these hurdles and fully harness the power of Framer.

While Webflow is great for building websites, Framer takes it a step further by allowing me to create dynamic and immersive prototypes that truly showcase the user experience. The ability to seamlessly integrate animations, transitions, and interactions makes Framer my go-to tool for creating engaging and visually stunning designs.

In conclusion, Framer is a game-changer for designers. It provides an unparalleled level of creativity, offering endless possibilities and pushing the boundaries of design. It's a journey that will undoubtedly lead to exciting and groundbreaking designs.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

When it comes to Framer, there are a few aspects that I find somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the lack of certain basic functionalities such as multilingual support and more extensive options for custom animations is a drawback. These are features that I believe would greatly enhance the overall user experience and provide even more creative possibilities.

However, it's important to note that despite these limitations, Framer still remains an incredibly powerful and innovative tool. Its ability to transform the way I approach design and its vast range of features outweigh any shortcomings. While there may be some areas for improvement, Framer continues to be my go-to choice for creating exceptional and interactive prototypes.

In summary, although there are a few features I wish were more robust in Framer, its overall capabilities and impact on my design process are undeniable. It's a tool that pushes boundaries and empowers designers to think outside the box. While there may be room for growth, Framer remains an invaluable asset in my creative toolkit.

With Framer's extensive set of features and customization options, designers can easily create prototypes that accurately showcase the user experience. Another problem that Framer tackles is the challenge of creating visually captivating and immersive designs. The tool offers powerful animation capabilities, allowing designers to bring their designs to life with fluid transitions and engaging interactions. This helps in creating prototypes that not only look impressive but also provide a realistic representation of the final product.

Framer also addresses the issue of design iteration and collaboration. ### 16. Easier that Webflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan B. | Senior Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Very similar to Figma in many ways, but you end up with a fully built website.

Offers a lot of flexibility as well as built-in components to help you get started.

Works great out of the box and there are hardly ever any bugs on different devices.

Great for no-code starters that want to ship something fast without compromising on quality.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I'm confident more and more features will be released, to allow more complex login, user management, maybe even subscriptions at some point. You can still do it via third party platforms, but would be nice to have it all in one place.

Right now the only "big" bug is related to importing templates and CMS items into new projects, which is where Framer kinda hits its limits, but again I think this will be solved...

AI stuff is a joke for right now, don't count on it.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of delivery. Easy to use interface, Easy to manage CMS. Full control over animation and every detail related to my projects. Pre-built components that you can just copy/paste in.

  ### 17. Framer is GAME CHANGING!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan C. | Freelance Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has helped me transition from primarily being a miserable web developer, to an excited and motivated designer. With the ability to continue working with clients as a "developer" via the seamless no-code editor and interactions, as well as being built on top of React - giving developers the ability to create custom components and overrides. The transition period from Figma to Framer was days. Framer lets you build & ship QUICK.

When it comes to updates & hotfixes the Framer team is ON IT! They fix issues quickly and understand their community is what matters the most.

Framer is one of the most engaging communities on Social Media and their forums, which truly makes me a huge supporter of this product.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Framers no-code editor is constantly growing. This means that naturally there are bugs and support issues at this stage. One of the main "annoyances" that I've experienced with others is that when you submit a template to the marketplace and are rejected, you're given a checklist of possibilities as to why you were denied, rather than a small list of reasons. While I understand Framer is still new and they get dozens of templates daily it's slightly annoying to resubmit, potentially wait 2 weeks, then get the same email of rejection without any direction.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer has solved one major problem for me. The transition from developer to designer. Without Framer, I don't think I would've made this transition so seamlessly while still retaining web clients - with the potential to migrate them over to Framer in the near future. Being able to create quick prototypes and animated social media content is absolutely wonderful as well!

  ### 18. Framer has brought the fun back to development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos G. | Freelance Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has a very intuitive and designer friendly interface. This makes you get used to the workbench in very few hours. In addition, the way in which interactions are performed, is undoubtedly the best thing about it. Its components or its effects... are VERY VERY simple to use and not at all hard to work with.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I can't say anything negative about the platform right now. You have to be realistic. Even though the software is not even 3 years old, they have been able to GIVE what people are asking for. They treat their customers like I have never seen before! As the months go by they will be perfecting the platform more and more.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer, in my opinion, solves two big problems in web development.

1. Code. No code opens the doors to a totally open world.

2. It has brought back, through its community and its platform/interface, the real fun of web development.

  ### 19. The fastest way to build a great website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Using Framer has made designing, building, and publishing websites so much easier and faster! Framer's unique approach to a visual canvas-based editing workflow is a huge improvement over other website building tools.

Framer delivers new additions, improvements, and bug fixes very quickly, with updates almost every week.

The Framer team and community are also very helpful and responsive when you're running into issues or need help.

I don't think I could go back to building websites with code after experiencing the speed and quality of Framer!

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Framer's CMS is lacking many features that are common in other CMS software. Reference fields, an API for interacting with the CMS externally, and advanced sorting options are a few features that would make Framer's CMS more powerful but are currently missing.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer brings the design, building, publishing and hosting processes into the same place. There's no need to jump between different design tools, code editors, CMS tools and hosting platforms as Framer handles all of those things.

  ### 20. Seamless Design and Animations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Visar M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Some of the outstanding aspects of Framer:

1. User-Friendly: Particularly accessible if you're already familiar with Figma, making it intuitive to use.
2. Sleek UI: The interface boasts a clean and modern design.
3. Regular Substantial Updates: Framer consistently delivers substantial updates on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
4. Effortless Animation and Distinctive Designs: Crafting animations and distinct designs is remarkably simple.
5. Pioneering the Future of Website Design: Framer appears to be at the forefront of shaping the future of website design.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I wish I could make my own categories so I can sort my projects based on categories.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A few to mention

1. I don't need to waste hours and hours on prototyping in Figma and then go into development, I just do it all in Framer
2. SEO & Speed are amazing
3. Extremely easy for clients to make changes on their own

  ### 21. Great marketing site building in no time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo A. | CEO and Co-Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The speed to deliver or have an awesome site online and live with no much coding work and not many resources involved.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Still..some technical knowledge is needed. Not a "dislike" i guess but there's a limitation in terms of who can use the tool effectively and get really impactful results.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are capable of having landing pages and sites quick, put them live in no time and able to validate business models faster. Also building landing pages and websites faster for clients that need speed and quality on the output.

  ### 22. Integration of framer with figma

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Framer?**

It's a great tool to convert your amazing web designs straight into actual working websites without the hassle of coding. It saves a lot of time and effort plus the interface is super user friendly. While working in Figma with UI designs, this tool is really helpful to create stunning landing pages.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

There's nothing as such to dislike about it. The only issue I faced is their website. It kind of slow and could be better and smooth for their end visitors.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Saving a lot of time that I would probably spend on coding.
2. Its integration with figma is a plus because I can directly use it with figma. I don't need to use a separate application.
3. It gives creative freedom while working on designs.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Hey there,

Thanks a bunch for your awesome feedback on Framer's Figma integration! It's super cool to hear how much time and effort you're saving by skipping the coding part and jumping straight into creating those stunning landing pages. 😊

Totally hear you on the website speed issue. We're always on the lookout for ways to make things smoother and faster, so this is super helpful to know.

  ### 23. My honest Framer review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saad H. | Founder at Onpoint, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The best feature of Framer by far is importing from Figma, and the ease of the experience in the process, Framer has some great features, and it helped me become a better designer/developer.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I think Framer is a fantastic tool, the only thing that caught me off guard is the limited features for free users, other than that Framer is the best no-code web development tool I've used so far.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making websites with no coding experience.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Thank you for your honest review of Framer! We're thrilled to hear that the Figma importing feature and the overall ease of use have significantly contributed to your growth as a designer and developer. It's rewarding to know that Framer's features are enhancing your creative process.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the limitations for free users. We understand the balance between offering robust features and maintaining a sustainable model. Your input is invaluable as we continue to evolve and improve our offerings.

It's fantastic to hear that Framer has been instrumental in enabling you to create websites without any coding experience. Our goal is to make web development accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their technical background.

  ### 24. Framer is a fantastic tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robson d. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

"I find Framer to be practical, incredibly fast, and extremely user-friendly! When comparing it to its competitors, I am convinced that Framer is exceptional, and the websites constructed using it go live remarkably quickly. Despite having experimented with alternatives like Webflow and WordPress, I am genuinely of the opinion that Framer distinguishes itself through its ease of use and rapid website creation, yielding beautifully designed components."

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I like everything Framer delivers, I wouldn't have any comments to make! Some things I would add might be to handle SVG files better and insert the multicolor gradient.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In web design the biggest benefit is agility and simplification for my creations!
As for prototyping, the Canva tool is sensational and I just think they could come back with plugins to get even better.

  ### 25. Enabling dream collabs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergio L. | Senior Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

As a Frontend Engineer working with a Creative Director this is our favorit new tool to collaborate and create websites. The world class UI makes it easy to find the right settings and crafting nice scroll animations is a breeze. Regular and useful product updates bring new features and improve Framer even more. Using code overrides or code components almost everything is possible.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Since Framer is very new there are some features missing like an integrated solution for language translations or more detailed filtering options in the CMS. Currently, there is no export functionality to self host a Framer website.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer enables a very fast workflow to design, prototype and implement websites without compromising quality. Client handover is seamless thanks to the easy to use interface and CMS.

  ### 26. Simply the Best for Designing Websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lenderson M. | 3L Market, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer offers an unparalleled design experience with its seamless integration of design and development. It's user-friendly, efficient, and promotes creativity, making it an essential tool for anyone looking to quickly bring their ideas to life.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I don't have any particular dislikes about Framer. However, it could further enhance its capabilities by improving the data handling for exporting and importing data within the CMS. This would streamline the process and make the tool even more powerful.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer bridges the gap between design and development, providing a one-stop solution for creating beautiful websites without the need for coding expertise. It has empowered me to realize my designs faster and with more control, significantly reducing development time and effort.

  ### 27. The easiest web design tool I've ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erman M. | Freelance Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer is the perfect tool for anyone looking to go from 0-1 with their website regardless of experience level. Their interface, YouTube tutorials, and community makes learning both basic and more advanced features a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

There is nothing for me to dislike about Framer, but since they recently pivoted to a web design tool, they're a relatively new product. Because of that, there are some features missing, but I also know that they're working hard and shipping updates like no other company. So whatever I, or any other designer in their community is missing, I'm sure will be adressed soon enough.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer let's me design freely on their canvas as if I was designing something in Figma or any other design tool with the exception that the design can be published to a live domain at the click of a button. No hassle importing design over from other tools, even though that's also easily done should you prefer such a workflow.

  ### 28. Framer is empowering web designers with seamless publishing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody O. | Frontend Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

As a seasoned designer always on the lookout for innovative tools, Framer.com instantly grabbed my attention. This powerful web design platform is more than just a design tool - it's a complete ecosystem that revolutionizes the way websites are created and published.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Right now I think what I dislike most is the cost. The pricing plan are quite expensive especially for someone like in that lives in Nigeria

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What truly sets Framer.com apart is its unique ability to publish websites directly from the platform. This seamless transition from design to live website eliminates the need to switch between different tools, streamlining the entire web design process. This feature has transformed my workflow, saving time and effort while maintaining design integrity.

Collaboration is also a strong suit of Framer.com. The platform facilitates real-time collaboration, allowing team members to contribute irrespective of their physical location. Feedback can be shared effortlessly, promoting a cohesive and efficient design iteration process. This collaborative approach not only enhances teamwork but also bridges the gap between designers and developers.

  ### 29. I feel framer is simple and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viswanadh K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Comparing it with its competitors I feel like framer is very easy to use and go live with website very quickly. I've used their competitors too like webflow, but I felt like framer is good, and the themes that are there on framer have better options

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Initially I felt sad that it doesn't have html export option but later I felt okay that I can use their hosting option which is not costlier comparing it with the hosting providers like godaddy and namecheap

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drag and drop, ease of making website and pre-built themes all in one are solving my problem and giving me edge with the time to go live

  ### 30. Epic playground for adults.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I have tried different web creation platforms throughout the last few years and Framer is a place where I feel most confident and capable while creating websites from scratch. I feel like the possibilities there are endless and everything that I can think of regarding design solutions can be made without having to know how to code. On top of that, Framer has the best community of designers that are supporting each other on social media and the library of various remixes and templates keeps spreading like a storm. What a place to bring my ideas to reality. Big up, Framer!

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Until now, I have not found anything that I would dislike.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving every business an easy and quick solution to have a modern and intuitive online presence that showcases their offer or tells their story in the best way possible.

  ### 31. The best way to build websites without code

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitchell B. | Staff Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

The incredibly control you have over everything in a drag and drop interface makes it fun to create for the web again. It's also incredibly quick to go from idea to fully built website in an afternoon!

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Rarely anything. Perhaps that the product is still so young that it lacks some features but those are all being taken care of every week with incredible updates.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a way to build a site without worrying about code. This lets me share my ideas with the world without much investment or time dedicated to them! What more could I ask for?

  ### 32. Design to live with little code knowledge

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The Figma plugin allows me to convert my designs to code seamlessly. This is incredible as a starting point when creating a Framer website

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Some parts can be buggy and will need a little bit of manual intervention when using the Figma Plugin.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to prototype without the requirement of engineers allows me to demonstrate and validate the value of designs. This is incredibly useful in an agile workspace where you are required to build and test almost every sprint.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Framer! It's fantastic to hear that our Figma plugin has been a game changer for you, making the transition from design to code seamless and efficient. ### 33. The best tool to quickly design and deploy sites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suman D. | Co-Founder, Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

The ability to quickly create custom components for unique experiences. Out of the box speed and optimisation that framer does on the background. And ability or import designs from Figma.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Their CMS tool is great but is lacking. Also roles and permissions need to be updated I want to invite guests to only edit CMS nf that would mean paying for an entire editor.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating beautiful functional websites that are fast and easy to publish. Ability to finish sites faster than with other tools once you get the hang of it.

  ### 34. I just absolutely love Framer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joris R. | Chief eitje Officer | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has been the most interesting software program i've used in a very long time. As a SaaS founder I know how important it is to move quickly and ship stuff, and that's exactly what Framer enables you to do. It makes developing your website so easy that it's not uncommon to go from idea > publish to production in just a few hours. Besides that it just gives you so much power that you don't even need to be able to write code or understand how the code structure of a website works. You just need to design and ship it :)

Furthermore the community and company is one of the most helpfull environments to be a part of.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I really couldn't tell anything bad about it. They might be young, but have a very sophisticated product allready and at the speed with which they develop this will only get better.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Development time is very expensive and will involve working together with multiple people. With Framer I can design and ship everything myself without the need to add developer time.

  ### 35. Framer is a gamechanger

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cédric v. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has made it possible to convert our designs into an actual website even more easily without any coding. This allows me to work faster and help more customers. It is also very easy to explain Framer to customers, allowing them to make adjustments themselves

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Because it is still fairly young, it is not yet as far along as Webflow in some respects. As a result, we sometimes have to take a diversion or try something different. But most of the time we figure it out and succeed in another way

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of Framer, we don't have to interact with customers as much and we can create the design all at once without having to design it first and then recreate it in Framer.

I love how easy it Is to use. Every element has been has been thought out with original ways to abstract problems other no code websites make very difficult to work with.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Still has work to expand on the full capabilities that Webflow has since there are abstractions made in Framer.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it for all web design prototyping and publishing.

**Official Response from Jurre Houtkamp:**

The cms without api. It lacks versatility and currently.mostly vendor locks you. Embrace the Jamstack please :)

Framer makes it easy to build an mvp/landingspage and is more then good enough to build upon after validating your concept.

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer is one of the most easy to use systems for making websites. It has a clean UI, loads of tutorials, a fantastic team, and a big community behind it to make it all happen.

We use it on a daily basis and can't think of a world without it.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

There are still some features that Framer is lacking. There are some CMS limitations, we'd like to have a better editor for our clients, and the handover process to a client could be improved.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer ensures that you can quickly turn your web design into an actual working website. It's the Figma of web design in my opinion.

It has ensured that we can create websites in a faster rate.

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I've been designing websites for over a decade and have been working directly with developers to bring these websites to life. With Framer, I can now build and ship these sites all myself with no creative ceiling and at a faster speed than ever before.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Like any growing startup, there's a laundry list of optimizations and features that can be made that the other established companies already have. But every update that the Framer team puts out delivers value – they're not just rushing to scale the product into a mess that becomes harder to use with each release.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer is the solution that every other website builder has been trying to be over the past few years. It enables me to deliver sites at lightning speed, and deliver solutions that otherwise would take crazy time and budgets to build. I can build and componentize a website then facilitate a seamless handoff to a client to manage and scale their site on their own.

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer does everything we need as in-house product designers. Since switching to Framer as our primary design tool, we've eliminated three other tools from our workflow. Everything is done within Framer now. Design, Prototyping, Reviewing, Publishing to code, it does it all. I haven't had this much fun using a design tool in a long time. It's very powerful and allows us to design and publish websites without coding experience. Using Framer, I've begun designing with more of a developer mindset, allowing me to branch out and grow.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Its vector tool is not the best. We continue to use Adobe Illustrator or Sketch for any vector graphics that need to be created.

Framer has some third-party integrations, but certainly not as robust as other apps. Hoping they continue to grow there.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer is an All-in-one design tool that has allowed us to simplify our workflow and reduce the number of apps we use to do our job. We use framer to Design, Prototype, Build, Host and Review websites.

  ### 45. An easy way to launch a profitable website for a start-up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina S. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I am a designer in a small team and it was fantastic to find a tool where I could both design and "develop" at the same time. Like other tools, everyone can understand Framer to create a useful website, but I thought Framer has way more versatility to design and create something different from the typical templates other tools offer.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Framer is growing so fast, but at the time, it doesn't have all the integrations other tools have. Due to this, I also think there could be more information or videos on the internet to show you how to start using Framer. By the way, I think it's a matter of time, as long as more people will start using it, there will be plenty of useful information on the internet.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On our team, we don't have a lot of budget to spend on developers so it was very useful to find a tool where I (the designer) could do both tasks.

  ### 46. Framer review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer has been really easy to use, but the experience has been exponentially rewarding. As with any tool, there is a learning curve but for those with experience in Figma, it'll feel rather similary with Framer.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Some minor bugs experienced from time to time but nothing that effects my work on Framer.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer has allowed me to design and publish websites at ease without the need for any major coding skills.

  ### 47. Framer helps us build a better, more dynamic company website in 30% of the time without developers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruud M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer is by far the best tool to create and maintain your company's website. Framer simplifies web development and lets your design team do everything in a single tool without the need for a developer.

Before using Framer, our design team used to design new web pages in Figma. Our developers would then develop those pages, and the designer would test the new pages to see if everything was implemented according to the design.

Framer eliminates all these steps. Our designers design new pages in Framer and publish them themselves. This turns the three-step process into a single step and completely removes developers from the process. This is a huge timesaver and efficiency boost.

Our designers are in full control and our developers stay focussed on our SaaS products without being disturbed by our marketing department.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Framer turns your designs automatically into responsive web pages. This makes it a bit more challenging to quickly design a couple of iterations for new pages/elements. Individual elements are auto-aligned, which can be in the way of your creative process.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framer help us design, develop, host and maintain our company website. It also allows our marketing department to write and manage our blog.

  ### 48. An easy way to get online ASAP without headache and a perfect responsive behaviour

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guenda P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

I love how easy is to get in the mindset of the tool and start building stuff with it. We needed a new CMS for our website relaunch and Framer was our first choice, even if it wasn't perfect and still in beta. In less than two weeks we were online. It's amazing that everyone, even without coding experience, can create a website or just update some texts and images very quickly. We did a lot of campaigns with different landingpages and the PM created them directly, with no help from dev or des (beside maybe some last touches from design, you know how perfectionist designers are). It's really cool also the staging feature, perfect to test responsive behaviour properly (let's be honest, the preview function in Framer doesn't really do the job and it's broken half the time). We also got a lot of support from you guys and that was really helpful at the beginning (again: thanks Aroa and John, you showed us some of the best tricks and workaround!)

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

As I was saying, live preview built in framer is kinda useless IMHO. It's broken half the time and you can't really simulate responsive behaviour there. Also the blog-CMS support: we had to do SO many code overrides even for the most trivial things. I know it's hard to ship a product like this perfectly functioning, but the updates on this are well, almost none. There is also some bugs here and there, nothing that isn't solvable by closing the app and opening it again, but it's just uncomfortable.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Going live asap since you don't need to wait for a developer to code your designs. Also small changes or edits: it's super fast and anyone can do it right away without having to open a ticket to even correct a typo.

  ### 49. Great web creator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luli L. | Diseñadora UX/UI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

You can create fantastic websites with a lot of previously designed patterns, that help you to do awesome designs and trasitions that would take hours to make for people who don't have code knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

I think that it would be very helpfull to have a complete access to the code and could share it with the developer. Also they have to improve the relationship between figma and framer.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving graphic designers life with this software, we not necessarily need to know about code, and this program makes it very easy, and don't limit our creativity.

  ### 50. Easy-to-use UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** German Q. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Framer?**

Framer is praised for its capabilities in creating interactive prototypes and animations. While it may have a learning curve, there is a supportive community available to provide assistance.

**What do you dislike about Framer?**

Compared to other website builders like Webflow and Bubble, Framer lacks a robust video documentation library.

**What problems is Framer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me the uses code as an escape hatch to extend capabilities to, for example, add small dynamic parts to a site
