What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

What I like most about Foxit PDF Editor is its Form Field Extraction and batch-processing capability for structural submittal review. These features support automated data scraping across submittals, quick export to a spreadsheet, and batch watermarking and processing. On large commercial projects, we receive hundreds of structural submittals every week, and manually opening every PDF just to check numbers is a massive time sink. Foxit PDF Editor removes that bottleneck and makes the workflow far more efficient. Additionally, the initial deployment was surprisingly smooth and took less than an afternoon for the whole office. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

Foxit PDF Editor also has its limitations: the structural dimensioning and angle tools feel limited, there’s no built-in calculation sheet verification, and 3D PDF/IFC model handling is clunky. Another frustration is that I can’t assign different measurement scales to specific subregions on a single drawing page. That forces me to clear and recalibrate my scaling tools every time I switch between an overall structural framing plan and an enlarged connection detail on the very same sheet.
