"Practical PDF Editing with Room for Interface Improvement"

4/5

What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I mainly use Foxit PDF Editor for reviewing and working with technical documents like specifications, reports, and drawings. It's practical because it lets me open a document, make annotations, add comments, edit where necessary, and move on without needing a ton of unused features. The annotation and commenting tools are easy to use, and they're probably the most useful for me. They make it simple to highlight sections, add notes, or mark up areas directly on a PDF, which is much clearer than sending a separate message. This feature is great when multiple people review the same document because we can leave comments and suggestions directly on the context. It's incredibly useful when dealing with long specifications or project reports, as it allows me to search, add notes, highlight sections, and compare revisions, thus saving me time and improving communication with the engineering team. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

One thing I think could be improved is the interface. There are a lot of options available, which is great when I need them, but for everyday tasks, it can sometimes feel a little busy. I’d prefer if the tools I use most often were more prominent and some of the less common features were tucked away. I’ve also noticed that with really large PDFs, especially technical documents with lots of drawings or high-resolution pages, it can take a little longer to load or respond. It’s not something that stops me from using it, but better performance with those heavier files would make a noticeable difference. Other than that, I’d say the issues are more about convenience and polish than anything fundamental. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Foxit PDF Editor to handle technical documents easily, making annotations, comments, edits, and comparisons without changing formats. It saves me time, helps me communicate changes effectively, and simplifies document management and review processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
