I like how straightforward Foxit PDF Editor is to use, while still having the features I need for engineering work. The editing and markup tools are particularly useful because I can make changes or add comments directly to a technical document without converting it to another format. The OCR feature is also handy when dealing with scanned documents since it can turn them into searchable and editable PDFs. I appreciate the PDF comparison feature which helps me quickly identify changes when reviewing different revisions of a document. Overall, I love that I can do most of my PDF-related work in one place instead of constantly switching between different applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor? If I'm being honest, the main thing I'd improve is the user interface. It has a lot of features, which is good, but sometimes the menus feel a little crowded and I have to search around to find an advanced option. I'd also like the editing of some PDFs to be a bit more consistent, especially when the document uses unusual or non-embedded fonts. And with very large or complex PDFs, performance can occasionally slow down. None of those are deal-breakers for me, though. I'd say the biggest improvement would simply be making the advanced tools easier to find and simplifying the overall interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
