What do you like best about Form Maker for G Suite?

What stood out immediately was the ease of use. Teams could generate forms, customize workflows, and start collecting structured information very quickly without requiring dedicated technical support. The UI/UX felt lightweight and intuitive, which helped both technical and non-technical users adopt it easily.

Another strong point was how naturally it integrated with Google Workspace tools already being used daily. Responses flowed directly into Google Sheets and existing collaboration workflows, which reduced the amount of manual consolidation work operations teams previously handled.

We also benefited from the speed of iteration. During fintech onboarding or internal operational process updates, forms could be modified and redeployed quickly as requirements evolved without rebuilding workflows from scratch. What do you dislike about Form Maker for G Suite?

In our usage, it handled onboarding requests, operational approvals, internal surveys, and structured data collection efficiently, but more advanced workflows involving conditional logic, multi-stage approvals, role-based routing, or deeper integrations occasionally required additional manual handling outside the platform.

From a UI/UX perspective, the simplicity is a major advantage initially, but teams managing larger-scale operational workflows may eventually want more advanced workflow orchestration, reporting flexibility, and administrative controls than the platform currently provides.

Another challenge was scalability for highly customized use cases. As data collection processes expanded across different departments and operational teams, maintaining standardized forms, permissions, and governance structures became harder to manage centrally. What problems is Form Maker for G Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using it, onboarding requests, internal approvals, operational checklists, event registrations, and compliance-related information gathering were often handled through emails, spreadsheets, and manually created documents. In our fintech-related operational workflows, that created delays, inconsistent data formats, and unnecessary follow-up work because teams were collecting information in different ways.

One specific issue involved onboarding and operational request workflows where multiple teams needed structured information before processing approvals or initiating tasks. Missing fields, inconsistent responses, and manual consolidation were slowing down execution and increasing administrative overhead.

Form Maker helped standardize those workflows by allowing teams to quickly generate structured forms directly within the Google Workspace environment. Instead of chasing information manually, operational teams could collect consistent responses automatically and route the data directly into shared Sheets and collaborative workflows.

Another major benefit was speed and flexibility. During process changes or operational updates, forms could be modified and redeployed very quickly without rebuilding workflows from scratch. That became especially useful when onboarding requirements or compliance-related information fields changed frequently.
