## Flosum Reviews
  ### 1. Complete Tool for DevOps and Backup in Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

I appreciate Flosum for its incredibly comprehensive DevOps solution which, unlike Salesforce's DevOps Center, offers functionalities such as rollback, code versioning, and code quality analysis, which we greatly missed before. The ability to view the change history is especially useful for development control and security. Additionally, the integrated backup solution is a valuable feature, providing an additional layer of security for our data in Salesforce. The initial transition was very smooth, evidenced by the quick integration of our teams, which reinforces the platform's efficiency and usability. This comprehensive set of features was decisive in our migration from other solutions, and I did not hesitate to recommend it to other colleagues, given the positive impact it has had on our operations.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

I believe that the DevOps solution should have greater segmentation of access and security, with the possibility of segmenting access to pipelines or other resources within the branch. In the backup solution, it would be interesting to have the possibility to transfer data between orgs, such as removing data from org A and transferring it to B.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Flosum as a DevOps and backup solution for Salesforce, solving issues like rollback, code versioning, and quality analysis, which were absent in Salesforce's DevOps Center.

  ### 2. Effortless Salesforce DevOps—Simple, Secure, and Fully Native

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swati A. | Manager Enterprise Application Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum makes Salesforce DevOps simple, secure, and native. I love that I can manage releases, track changes, and ensure compliance — all without leaving Salesforce. Very easy to use. We have been using it for our DevOps

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

There’s a slight learning curve and a few areas where the user experience could be more intuitive, but once you’re familiar with it, the platform works very well.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum has helped us streamline our entire Salesforce release management process. It eliminates manual deployment errors, provides complete version control, and ensures auditability for all changes. Because it’s 100% native to Salesforce, we no longer worry about data security or compliance issues. The ability to manage multiple environments, automate deployments, and maintain governance in one place has significantly improved our development speed and reduced release downtime.

  ### 3. Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

What I like best about Flosum is its simplicity and Salesforce-native approach. It makes release management, version control, and deployments much easier without needing complex third-party integrations. The user-friendly interface, automated workflows, and strong security features save a lot of time and reduce deployment errors. I also appreciate the excellent customer support, which is always responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

While Flosum is very effective overall, the initial setup and configuration can feel a bit complex for new users. The UI could also be more modern and intuitive in certain areas. Additionally, since it is Salesforce-native, it sometimes feels limiting when compared to tools that integrate with multiple platforms. However, once the learning curve is managed, the experience becomes much smoother.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum helps streamline the entire release management process within Salesforce. It reduces deployment errors, ensures version control, and improves collaboration across teams. The automation features save time, while the SaaS backup functionality provides extra security for business-critical data. Overall, it improves productivity and helps deliver projects faster with fewer risks.

  ### 4. Superior Release Management, but Unit Test Requirement Still Frustrates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

In my experience, this is simply a superior release manager when compared to Salesforce’s built-in deployment manager.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

When deploying non-apex components to Production, I still find that unit tests are required. It's possible that I'm missing an option or perhaps not using the process correctly. To get around this requirement, I usually include an apex test file with my deployment, even if it's not actually necessary.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying with this tool is much simpler than working with Salesforce’s change sets. It really streamlines the process and makes everything easier.

  ### 5. Smooth Workflow with Merge Feature, but Frustrating Errors and Flexipage Merging

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

The ability to merge into the release branch ensures that changes made to the same components by different team members do not overlap. This helps maintain a smooth workflow and prevents conflicts during development.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

When unclear errors occurs. Also, it becomes challenging to merge flow and flexipages.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining a repository with version control is valuable because it allows for effective tracking of changes and history.

  ### 6. Extremely useful for salesforce developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaideep S. | ITDP Intern - Technical Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is a fantastic tool for developers, offering a seamless, all-in-one solution. It makes deploying projects a breeze, and the community support is truly amazing.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Setting things up initially could be quicker. However, after the configuration team assisted with the setup, it became very user-friendly.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flosum is an excellent tool for developers, featuring a built-in Salesforce framework that simplifies selective component deployment. The comprehensive documentation and training materials make it easy for developers to learn and use, while the intuitive interface enhances the user experience. Additionally, Flosum seamlessly integrates with various applications like Jira and Git, making it a highly versatile and valuable resource for development teams.

  ### 7. flosum review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BalavardhanReddy V. | Salesforce Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum is a good to use Salesforce DevOps platform made to tackle the particular difficulties of Salesforce platform development. From development to deployment and beyond, it offers a comprehensive solution for the full application lifecycle.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Flosum might not be the best option if you require a DevOps tool that can handle deployments across several platforms

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had different people making changes in different places, and when it was time to deploy to production, it was a stressful, manual process.

  ### 8. Great Support and Training, but Updates Can Be Inconvenient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

It is always being updated to stay current with Salesforce updates through the year. They have staff dedicated to making sure you are using the product well and to the max. There is plenty of online training available from them.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

Updates require resetting settings each time. Staff keep reminding us to buy more products.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all the code current in all environments. Able to manage code updates, making it easy to migrate changes into different sandboxes.

  ### 9. Complete Salesforce Release Management - within Salesforce!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank Yukio N. | Senior Manager CRM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

Flosum offers the unique possibility of combining a full-blown release management suite with the flexibility of Salesforce itself.
The tool is easy to use for starters in the Salesforce ecosystem, but also established experts can find all the features they need to fine-tune complex release landscapes and respective processes.
Big plus: New features are released regularly and you can feel that the Flosum team really listens to the feedback of their customers when designing their product roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

The main downside comes not from Flosum itself, but from the architectural fact that it is in the end hosted on Salesforce platform itself, meaning that it also needs to adher all Salesforce platform limits, sometimes causing performance issues. However, solutions to these bottlenecks are already being developed afaik.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very heterogeneous level of knowledge across the team.
Complex, multi-org architecture and release landscape.
Faster, but also more reliable and scalable deployment processes.

  ### 10. How Flosum became a chosen one for our project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Upasana M. | Business Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Flosum?**

When we started using DevOps for our deployment, we were a bit confused with which tool to go ahead with as there were a number of tools available which promised to solve our needs. There were Copado, CircleCI, Gearset, Autorabit etc all of which were promising to solve our needs.

To plan our deployment strategy we delved into the details based on:
1. ROI
2. Time required to develop the most requested feature.
3. Price to quality ratio

In all of these parameters, we found Flosum standing par from all of its competitions. If I am to speak about the features which hammered my trust with the tool are the Environment Variables which reduces the post deployment time significantly, Partial branch deployment which means you can select which components from the branch you can deploy leaving behind the rest without any issues.
Ofcourse the factor of being 100% native to Salesforce is absolutely a feather in the cap.

Honestly, this is the best tool I have used so far. Thank you so much Flosum team.

**What do you dislike about Flosum?**

As of now nothing, I have used flosum for more than three projects and no problems I can think of.

**What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a native Salesforce tool it has a lot of positiveness which makes ita favourable tool for Deployment
