I like Firebase because it lets me build and test ideas quickly without spending too much time setting up the backend. For our SIH project, we use it to handle user data, authentication and sync data between the app and backend. It was especially helpful when our team was testing features on different phones, because changes and data could be reflected almost immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main downside for me is debugging when something goes wrong with database rules or authentication. During our SIH project, we had a few cases where everything worked locally but data suddenly stopped syncing because of a small rule or configuration issue.
