What do you like best about Film Logic?

The best thing about Film Logic is the live chat feature. As an assistant director that deals with costumes department, this software is a game changer for me. I can tag the script for all assets including costumes, and it creates a breakdown for me. And then I can get it approved by the director and producer with the help of the live chat feature. The approval process is also so amazing and in real time. I love using the mobile app too, it's so convenient to upload pictures and show the director the type of costumes I am sourcing. What do you dislike about Film Logic?

I don't see many downsides except maybe a budgeting feature for each department, which I am hoping should be in the works. This is a fairly new software so I know updates are coming soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Film Logic solving and how is that benefiting you?

Film Logic is solving the biggest issue that we face in the film industry - there is no app or software that brings the entire film production under one gambit. This app is a game changer, where everyone from each department is able to login and do their work, and it gets shared with the other department so easily. It creates breakdowns, scripting, asset tagging, scheduling, and the best feature is also the AD dashboard which is so amazing. It feels like this app has been made by a film maker themselves. Through the Ad dashboard the entire set can know what's being shot live, whether we are rolling, cut or if we have gone over time with our schedule etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
