what i like most about Figma is how easy it is to collaborate with designers and teammates in real time. I can open designs directly in the browser, inspect component, check spacing, colors, and fonts without installing heavy software. The developer inspect mode is especially helpful for understanding UI details and translating designs accurately into code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For Every large design files, Figma can a bit slow sometimes. if the design system is not well organized, it can also be confusing to find the right components or screens. Another small issue is that advanced features are part of paid plans, which may not be needed for every project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i love how collaborative figma is and all the new ai tools available to help speed up the design process. the real-time collaboration allows engineers, pms, and us to change the designs live and design with everyone. figma make has also been a game changer when it comes to prototyping all the interactions within screen. it has seamlessly helped us figure out the usability of the design Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
i think it is hard to maintain design systems in figma because it is too easy to detach components and override tokens. it also sometimes gets really messy in design files and hard to keep track of what has been shipped and what was de-prioritized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Figma is a modern wireframing solution that is more flexible than traditional software alternatives being that it is cloud based that you can access from anywhere. Figma is very approachable for beginners just starting to learn or more advanced users with established skillsets. Designs can be created quickly and easily, it's easy to share and port things when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Learning curve may be a bit hard at first but easier overall compared to software like Adobe XD. Managing layers sometimes becomes confusing and hard to manage on larger projects. Sometimes it's hard to find the right settings on assets to adjust simple things but overtime you get a better sense to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A very intuitive design platform with lots of flexibility and a clear dashboard. I love that I can create custom email designs and website sections for my clients and easily plug in to other platforms like klaviyo, omnisend and shopify. Using Figma makes life as a designer so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some tools are a little hard to access, but on the whole I really can't fault it. It's a great design tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Cloud-based collaboration allows for real-time co-editing with teammates, as well as the ability to leave comments and access version history.
2. The platform is cross-platform, functioning smoothly in browsers and across various operating systems without requiring heavy installations.
3. Its UI/UX focus makes it particularly strong for interface design, prototyping, working with components, and managing design systems.
4. The use of reusable components, along with shared libraries and styles, helps maintain consistency and supports scalability.
5. There is also a large ecosystem of plugins and integrations, including compatibility with tools like Slack, Jira, and FigJam.
6. Handoff to developers is straightforward, as they can directly inspect specifications, assets, and code snippets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software relies heavily on a stable internet connection to function at its best. When working with very large files or projects containing numerous assets, I have noticed it can become sluggish. Additionally, the offline editing capabilities are quite limited and do not match the more robust features found in traditional desktop applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Figma best for its real-time collaboration and cloud-based design environment. Multiple team members can work on the same design simultaneously, leave comments, and see changes instantly. Its intuitive interface, vector-based tools, and extensive plugins make designing UI/UX, prototypes, and graphics fast and flexible. Plus, being browser-based, it works on any device without installation, which is very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Figma is powerful, it has some drawbacks. Large or complex files can slow down performance, especially in browsers. Offline functionality is limited, so you need an internet connection for full features. Advanced prototyping or animation options are not as robust as specialized tools, and sometimes plugin compatibility or version control can be tricky with large teams. Figma has truly revolutionized the way I collaborate on design projects. Its real-time collaboration capabilities are exceptional—no matter if I’m working alongside designers, copywriters, or developers, everyone can participate, leave comments, and iterate together in a single workspace. I really appreciate how seamless and intuitive the interface feels, making it simple to maintain brand consistency through components, shared libraries, and auto-layout. Since it’s cloud-based, I can access my work from anywhere without the hassle of syncing files or worrying about losing progress. The prototyping and handoff tools are also excellent, saving me significant time during reviews and development implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although Figma is almost ideal for the majority of my projects, its performance tends to decline when handling particularly large files or intricate prototypes. Additionally, while the plugin ecosystem is extensive, certain AI and automation features still seem somewhat basic, especially when compared to what Photoshop or Illustrator offer. Offline functionality is another area that could use improvement; I would really appreciate being able to work smoothly without an internet connection, particularly when I’m on the go. What I appreciate most about Figma is the smoothness and efficiency of its design workflow. Having used Figma for a long time across various projects, I find it exceptionally user-friendly. It stands out as one of the top tools for web design simple, powerful, collaborative, and free to begin with. Overall, Figma provides the flexibility and speed I require as a designer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Figma is that sometimes it feels a bit slow when working on large files, especially with many layers. Since I use Figma regularly for web design, these small lags can interrupt my flow. Apart from that, I don’t have major complaints the tool is great overall Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Real-time collaboration — design together, see changes live
Figma’s cloud-based, browser-accessible platform allows designers, product managers, developers and even stakeholders to work simultaneously on the same file. Multiple people can edit, comment or prototype in real time — which dramatically reduces delays caused by back-and-forth hand-offs or file version mismatches.
All-in-one tool: design, prototype, hand-off to developers
With vector editing, layout/design mode, prototyping mode, and a “developer mode” for specs and code-ready assets, Figma covers almost the full design-to-dev workflow.
This reduces context switching and helps keep design fidelity high when handing over to engineering.
Cross-platform & cloud-based accessibility — no OS barriers
Because Figma runs in the browser (with optional desktop apps), it works across operating systems. Teams don’t need to worry about Mac vs Windows licenses or file-format compatibility. That inclusivity enables mixed-environment teams (designers + developers + PMs) to collaborate seamlessly.
Design systems, shared libraries & consistency across projects
The ability to build reusable components, shared style libraries, and maintain a “single source of truth” for UI elements helps ensure consistency across screens, pages or products — a major plus for conversion rate optimisation, branding and UX coherence.
Speeds up prototyping & feedback loops — ideal for agile/product-led teams
Because you can quickly turn designs into clickable prototypes, get feedback, iterate, and share with stakeholders or users — Figma supports the fast experimentation cycles that CRO/UX teams often need. This tight feedback-to-iteration loop helps validate UX decisions before committing development resources.
From a CRO or UX-optimization standpoint: Figma enables alignment between design, product, and development — helping deliver better UX, consistent UI, and faster rollouts of hypotheses/tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I Dislike (or What Could Be Better)
Performance issues with large / complex files, and collaboration lags
As projects grow — complex design systems, long flows or many collaborators — Figma can become sluggish, which can hinder productivity or frustrate team members.
Dependence on internet connection; offline mode is limited
Being cloud-based is a major strength — but it also means you need a stable internet connection. Offline editing or working from low-connectivity environments can be inconvenient or unreliable.
Cost/licensing for full team features can be significant
While there may be free or low-tier plans, unlocking all collaboration, design-system, versioning or team-wide features for larger orgs can get expensive. For smaller teams or side-projects, this may be a limiting factor.
Learning curve & complexity — not always trivial for non-designers or beginners
Because Figma offers extensive capabilities (vector editing, prototyping, components, libraries, versioning, etc.), fully leveraging its power may require some ramp-up time. Beginners may find it overwhelming initially.
Not ideal for highly specialized graphic editing or raster-based work
While Figma excels at UI/UX—vector-based interface design and prototyping—it isn’t always a substitute for full-featured graphic editing (bitmap editing, advanced photo manipulation, advanced illustration, etc.). For those tasks, a dedicated tool may still be preferable.
From a CRO/UX lens: in complex, large-scale projects or teams, performance lags or licensing costs might impede agility; for smaller or early-stage teams, trade-offs between price and features need careful consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Figma is a great tool to make designs and icons for use in your code. I use Figma to make templates and apply them directly to my css this help me to reduce my time on coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In some cases, you need to use the import more libraries to use Figma. There are some projects where I need to use Figma for design and apply it directly to my css and sometimes do not work, so the only thing I dont like is that you need to applied libres Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
