## FigJam Reviews
  ### 1. My Go-To Tool for Creating Flowcharts and Designs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aattisho B. | Project Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is easy to use and makes collaboration feel natural. I like that teams can brainstorm, map ideas, leave comments, use templates, and turn rough thoughts into clear visual workflows quickly. The real-time collaboration is smooth, and the integration with Figma makes it especially useful for design and product teams. It feels lightweight, intuitive, and flexible enough for workshops, planning sessions, retrospectives, and quick ideation.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

FigJam can feel a little limited when compared with more advanced whiteboarding or diagramming tools. Some features, like organizing large boards, managing lots of objects, or creating detailed diagrams, can get a bit messy. Performance may also slow down on very large files with many collaborators or elements. I would like to see stronger organization tools, more advanced export options, and better controls for complex boards.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam helps solve the problem of scattered ideas and disconnected collaboration. It gives the team one shared space to brainstorm, plan, organize feedback, and visualize workflows in real time. This saves time in meetings, makes discussions more productive, and helps everyone stay aligned.
It also makes remote collaboration easier because people can contribute ideas, add comments, use sticky notes, and quickly turn concepts into clear action items. Overall, it helps us move faster from brainstorming to decision-making.

  ### 2. Easy, Fast Collaboration for User Flows and Early Product Thinking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brahmatheja Reddy M. | Head of Product, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is incredibly easy to pick up and start using, even for non-designers. I use it very frequently for mapping user flows, system architecture diagrams and early product thinking, and it rarely gets in the way of speed. The real-time collaboration is smooth, comments are intuitive, and the sticky notes, connectors and templates cover most use cases without feeling bloated.

Implementation is basically instant since it’s browser-based and tightly integrated with the Figma ecosystem. If you already use Figma, the learning curve is minimal. Integrations and exports also work well when sharing flows with engineers, PMs or stakeholders, which makes alignment faster. Overall, it strikes a good balance between having enough features and staying simple to use.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

While FigJam is great for early-stage thinking, it starts to feel limiting for more complex or large-scale architecture diagrams. Managing very dense flows or detailed system designs can get messy and versioning or structuring large boards isn’t always intuitive.

Some advanced diagramming features (like stronger auto alignment, layering control or more architecture-specific components) are still missing. Also, performance can dip slightly on very large boards with lots of collaborators. Customer support is decent, but for power users, more advanced documentation or best-practice guidance would be helpful.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam solves the problem of fast, collaborative thinking and alignment across cross-functional teams. It allows me to quickly translate ideas into user flows and architecture diagrams that are easy for designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand.

Because it’s easy to use and requires almost no setup, I can move from discussion to visual clarity in minutes. This reduces back-and-forth, speeds up decision-making and helps catch gaps early in product and system design. The ability to collaborate live and integrate smoothly with Figma makes it especially valuable for continuous, day-to-day product work rather than just one-off workshops.

  ### 3. Streamlined Collaboration, Needs AI for Large Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pushpanjali M. | Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I really find FigJam useful for building workflows, team collaborations, and collecting team confidence votings. It helps simplify complex tasks and puts everything on one screen which is invaluable for my team, especially since we work with many dependencies. Brainstorming in FigJam lets our teams generate and organize ideas quickly, while voting helps prioritize and align with stakeholders efficiently. The way dependency tracking visualizes task relationships and prevents blockers is incredibly helpful. FigJam supports the entire collaboration workflow making cross-functional collaboration both faster and more structured. Setting up and migrating to FigJam was easy, thanks to the helpful support.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

For teams that have huge headcount like 800, it gets a bit tricky to manage all the notes, comments, and boards. FigJam can utilize AI to make things a little less cluttered or cumbersome. Organizing the board becomes difficult in large collaborations. Navigation on large boards is challenging. A mini-map or structured board index to quickly jump between sections would improve usability in large workshops.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FigJam for building workflows, team collaborations, and gathering team confidence votes. It simplifies complex dependencies across teams, supports rapid brainstorming and prioritization, and visualizes task relationships, making cross-functional collaboration faster and more structured.

  ### 4. Seamless Collaboration and Essential for UX Research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveenkumar S. | Senior UX/UI Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Collaborating with team members is seamless, allowing us to turn thoughtful ideas into reality. This tool supports our UX research activities, such as mapping user journeys, brainstorming sessions, and conducting design critiques.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

So far, I haven't found anything to dislike. The only issue I've encountered is that sometimes I'm unable to transfer exactly what I've created in FigJam over to Figma. Other than that, I have no complaints.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our design process, we typically conduct UX research, which used to require juggling multiple tools and documents to keep everything organized. However, with FigJam, we can now manage the entire process just as quickly as before, but with the added benefit of having everything structured in one place. The readily available templates from the community also make it much easier to get started and streamline our workflow.

  ### 5. FigJam at a startup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boris R. | Founding Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

As Founding Designer at a startup, I appreciate how fast and intuitive FigJam is. The tight integration with Figma is a big win: our designers can copy-paste components and assets, browse our existing libraries, and stay in one ecosystem. It’s become our default canvas for brainstorming at the company level—used daily by the design team and ad-hoc by the rest of the org for planning sessions and sprint retrospectives. The feature set is intentionally slim but sufficient; we’ve never been blocked by missing functionality. I haven’t really engaged their customer support yet, so I can’t speak to that, but the product has been stable enough that we haven’t needed it.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The biggest gap for us is the breadth and polish of out-of-the-box templates. Miro’s catalog feels wider and, visually, a touch more refined; I also prefer some of Miro’s visual styling. FigJam’s look can feel plainer by comparison. That said, FigJam’s native integration with Figma remains a decisive advantage, and it’s ultimately why we chose it over Miro. Still, expanding the template gallery and adding more visually varied starting points would make onboarding non-design stakeholders and occasional contributors even smoother.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At a global startup like ours, FigJam solves the very practical problem of distributed teams not being in the same room: it gives us a shared, persistent digital whiteboard for real-time and asynchronous collaboration. Brainstorming, planning, and sprint retros no longer depend on co-location; teammates can contribute from anywhere, anytime. Built-in facilitation features—especially dot-voting—make prioritization faster and simpler than in a physical room. The benefits for us are higher participation across time zones, quicker alignment and decisions, and a durable record of ideas and outcomes we can revisit later.

  ### 6. Simple, Beautiful, and Great for Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin F. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Very simple to use and it looks nice too. I can find everything I need to use quickly and it's great for collaboration. It's also easy to join even if you don't have an account.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

A reaction button might be nice. But other than that it works really well.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Design collaboration and Retros can be easily done with it. We collaborate with designers, devs and POs

  ### 7. Excellent Collaborative Whiteboarding and Flowcharting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonny K. | Senior Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Excellent whiteboarding and flowchart tool that enables online collaboration and multiple people to work on the same file at once

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Flowchart creation could be easier - getting arrows in the right place can be fiddly

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all staff on a single board means everyone can see what each other is doing, which is especially important for remote working.

  ### 8. Fast, User-Friendly for Visual Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alina K. | Marketing and PR Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I use FigJam for collaborations and Zoom calls, and it's very visual for product processes. I appreciate that FigJam loads much faster than Figma and doesn't intimidate newcomers using this type of visual editor for the first time. I also like that it loads quickly and offers a free plan. The initial setup was very easy and comfortable.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The free plan is very limited, unfortunately.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam loads quickly, is user-friendly for newcomers, and is great for visual collaboration during zoom-calls.

  ### 9. Seamless collaboration with native Figma integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Art B. | Conversion Rata Optimisation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam feels like an extension of our design workflow rather than a separate tool. The native integration with Figma means we can brainstorm, map user flows, and drop in real design components without leaving the same environment. It’s lightweight, intuitive, and quick to pick up—even for non-designers—so cross-functional workshops run smoothly without setup friction. Consolidating into one platform also reduced context switching and license overhead.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

For very large boards with hundreds of assets, performance can get a bit sluggish compared to specialized whiteboarding tools. The facilitation features (like timers or voting) are solid but not as extensive as in Miro—though for most of our use cases, they’re more than enough.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam helps us bring cross-functional teams into the design process without overwhelming them with complex tools. Product managers, engineers, and stakeholders can collaborate visually, leave feedback, and co-create solutions in real time—without needing separate accounts or training.

By consolidating whiteboarding and design reviews into a single platform, we’ve reduced context switching and eliminated the need for separate licenses for tools like Miro. This lowers our costs, simplifies IT administration, and keeps all project assets in one place.

It also accelerates decision-making. Because FigJam is connected to our Figma design files, we can move from ideation to prototyping in the same session, avoiding delays from exporting or re-creating work in different tools.

  ### 10. Keeps Our Design Workflow in One Place with Figma

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** eric f. | Professor, Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

i already use Figma for web design, so, this helps keep the number of platforms I have to a minimum

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

sometimes the user permissions can be hard to udnerstand. whatever "seats" are, I never really understand that.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

whiteboarding, scoping, researching, IA, flowcharts

  ### 11. Seamlessly Elevates Collaborative Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylie M. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I really enjoy using FigJam as a collaboration tool, especially for tasks like user flows, project kickoffs, solution meetings, early ideation, and wireframing. The ability to whiteboard asynchronously with remote employees is invaluable, allowing us to capture early ideas without manual writing and map out complicated flows easily. The comment feature, voting, timers, templates, stickers, and drawing tools stand out as particularly useful. I appreciate its ease of use, ease of setup, and seamless integration with the rest of our design process.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't love the AI generated templates. I feel like they all kind of look the same, and it's hard to get it very specific.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam enables asynchronous whiteboarding with remote teams, captures early ideas efficiently, and maps out complicated flows easily.

  ### 12. Great Collaboration Features, But Performance and Templates Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush K. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The team is easy to work with, which makes collaboration enjoyable. I really appreciate the sticky notes, shapes, and real-time editing features—it feels like having a shared whiteboard, but without the mess or the usual headaches that come with meetings. Quite easy to integrate with other platforms.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

As the board size increases, I notice the performance tends to slow down somewhat. Additionally, some of the tools seem a bit too basic for my needs. The limited selection of templates is also disappointing, and I really wish the overall experience was smoother.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool allows my team and me to collaborate on planning ideas without the need for lengthy meetings. We can easily leave notes, vote, and organize everything in a single space, which helps keep everyone focused and ensures we all stay aligned with our goals.

  ### 13. FigJam User centric

Easy to learn, design, interactive, explorative designs tools, collaborative, flow design captures. Fast performance, easy sense of making, great for non designers, interactive tools to design.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Large boards can turn mess, text handling is very basic, sharing content, week offline, limited diagramming depth.

It would be great to have a few more tools available for creating custom forms, diagrams or visual elements.

Used this for diagramming and brainstorming majorly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

it is pretty easy and intuitive to use, you can onboard and start working immediately ..the UI and the UX is very smooth and easy to understand, kudos to the implementation of the product.. I did not feel the need to reach out to the customer support for any help ever and the updates are fantastic. I use it very regularly to explain complex mechanisms and easily chart out the simple processes. I did not get a chance to integrate Figjam with anything, did not feel the need even.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Discovering the customer support or the help is a little tough, and I could not figure out how to integrate figjam with any other products or services.. it was hard to locate the integrations

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Creating user journey maps for engineers where each scenario can branch out into diff directions
- Break down complex mechanisms in a visually presentable way

Collaborating with my colleagues on a single project to brainstorm is very easy and organized with Figjam

  ### 22. Collaborative delightful software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paavan B. | Design Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is a really delightful piece of software to use. It is full of interesting and exciting interactions and it makes collaborating while working remotely really enjoyable.

It has some great features like sections for sticky notes, lots of templates for common whiteboarding tasks, AI summaries of sticky notes, and then also lots of fun features too, such as the Polaroid widget and other interactive games and widgets.

I've used it regularly to make some really exciting interactive workshops where people have been fully remote and people have fed back that it is a really enjoyable piece of software to use.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It's a bit expensive if you're not already within the Figma ecosystem.

Also sharing a lnik to open a FigJam file is harder than it needs to be (starting an open access session) .

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam helps me to solve two major problems.

The first one is just for mapping out processes and flows in my head, so making information architecture diagrams or user flow diagrams for my work as a UX designer.

The second is it helps me collaborate remotely with other people. By using FigJam, we can all jump into the same file and work through a workshop template or put ideas down in the same place.

  ### 23. FigJam new design tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshan S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

FigJam Gives usto showcase our ideas, design & it allows us to work in a team. It is becoming trendy day by day in designer communinty. You can use it for User Interface designing for web or app both.

They are also providing sticky notes, emojis, drawing tools.
Best Part about figma is you don't required any prior experience in it compare to PSD & sketch.

There community is very strong you can find so many effective work from there and use it for your work.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

One of the main drawbacks of it is you can not work offline.
You cannot add custom shapes, gradients, or patterns.
It does not offer video tutorial or or animation capabilities.
It is also a paid software so it is not physiable for students, employees etc.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

they are improving their vector-based designing functionality compared to photoshop, which is very beneficial.
And they are also working in person who don't know about white mapping. They can get a quick guide from their web.
They are also trying to make it free for everyone students, professionals, organization so it will be very beneficial.

  ### 24. Amazing for collaboration!

I love all the templates and features it has for collaborating. You can pretty compile lots of data on here for your team to review in a structured way. Super easy to use for everyone on the team

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

i wish it had more features from Figma and better connects with bringing in wireframes from Figma. For example if i copy a wireframe over, i have very limited functionality in making any changes. I wish i could merge cells in the table and have something like auto-layout for the tables so as the data in the table in increasing the table adjusts

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating Customer journey maps, helping up facilitate team retrospectives, information repository

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahim S. | Sr. Research Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

While working on Figma it usually difficult to connect and collaborate with the devs from my software team, who are working in different states and cities, Figjam has proven to be a proper and functional place to envision, monitor and bring new ideas to life.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

i know thate there is a verbal connect option avaiable to better collaborate but would have appricated if there was a video conferencing option too

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

our projects are usually a bit complex to be understood by one person and since most of the devs are working from their homes, Figjam has helped bridge that gap

  ### 29. How to sum up my love for FigJam?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izzi H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I love how incredibly flexible FigJam is. Whether I'm facilitating a meeting with my product team, running a design studio, having an inspiration/ hangout sesh, or keeping track of my Brag Doc, I can use FigJam for EVERYTHING! It's easy to turn on an "open session" for people who don't normally use FigJam to attend a meeting and it's easy enough for anyone to pick up and use with me. The integrations are incredible and as they continue to roll out and I'm so excited to see how the AI continues to improve because it easily cuts my setup time by 90%!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Honestly, I don't have a single bad thing to say. The only feedback I've gotten from others is that they want the flame emote as a stamp! haha

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FigJam to map out the team's vision and strategy to help us visualize everything before presenting it to management. We use FigJam to come together as a team (whether that's my product team, the UX team, or a larger group) to boost morale and get to know each other better. (High-fives anyone?)

  ### 30. FigJam is the kinder surprise of software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago C. | Professor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The amount of work done on the software side, and the quality of the craft that comes into translating emotions into a discussion is fantastic. If I am trying to convince people to switch over to Figma from another tool, I will usually introduce them to Figjam first in order to lure them first. Overall some of my favorite features are the reaction wheel, the marker options, and the AI early explorations.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The AI widgets can get a little too crazy. Sometimes bringing assets from the Figma design editor makes stuff behave in weird ways. I wish the cursor chat was more accesible for everybody, easier to cojure.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figjam helps me align with teammates and stakeholders, both in a divergent stages and convergent decisions. It feels like a very natural space to throw out ideas without the worry for high resolution to be inserted all the time.

  ### 31. Simple and basic

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe B. | CPO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Its simple and easy to use. Sharing works well with the whole team

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It doesnt have the templates and depth that Miro has. Hence, for a power user Miro is better, for a simple user, Figjam is better

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visual repreentation of thoughts and collaboration to bring alignment

  ### 32. Best Tool to Create Stunning Diagrams and Logos.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kush J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

As my company is based on travel and tourism, FigJam helps us with our day-to-day tasks such as making posters etc also it is a collaboraitive whiteboard tool that makes our work so easy and attractive. My team uses it to make tour brouchers, block diagrams, flowcharts, etc for our projects. And compare to other software Figjam interface is too simple which makes it too easy for use and have more value-added tools which show my work so attractive.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

FIGJAM is a great tool but in the rare case, it works slowly. Overall it is a good tool and has free templates. However, I recommended that FIGJAM introduce more templates and tools.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FIGJAM provides me with a better environment for making my company work easy and connecting with my team and helping to make new and attractive designs of brochures for my tourism company.
overall it is the best tool.

  ### 33. Using FigJam for creating logo for my startup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ujjwal M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I have been using FigJam and obviously Figma for creating logos for my startup, I am an app developer and a blogger and the use of these tools really makes the work easy. The best part about FigJam is that it allows you to make logos and design however you want. It has all the basic functionality but also gives you the feature to collaborate with your team, making it a pretty useful tool for developers. While collaborating with your team you can brainstorm ideas easily and each member has access to all the tools provided by Fijam. You have the flexibility of exporting your designs in any format you want.
Overall it is a great tool for collaboration and designing stuff.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

FigJam is great but sometimes when I want to instantly create something for my blog or app it becomes hard to do so. I would really appreciate it, to have a custom template from which I can select the prebuilt stuff that I can directly use.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam is really helpful for me when I have to collaborate with my team to make logos for my development stuff Also I can make premium designs for my apps, it is helpful at times when I need a prototype for a website or app. I also use it for my blogging design.

  ### 34. FigJam - So Many Uses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I am in marketing and use FigJam for so many things: sketching designs, product maps, web maps, brainstorming, mapping workflows, visualizing marketing plans, etc. I love the ease of sharing with coworkers and how you can present in real time. I use it on my iPad with my Apple pencil. It's great for sketching out quick ideas. I use it daily and it's easy for cowrokers to use too. It's great how it displays web links. I like that I can intrgrate with ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

For what it is, there's not much more I could ask for. I'm really have with how easy it it to use.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I made a lot of flow charts and diagrams and FigJam is an excellent tool for this. It's also great for presenting these to and collaborating with coworkers.

  ### 35. Just one link to brainstorm, develop, and organize ideas without hassle of cut and join

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alabi A. | Product Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I like the softwares real-time collaboration, intuitive interface, and versatile features. Its ability to facilitate brainstorming, wireframing, and visual collaboration makes it my go-to tool.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

One potential drawback of FigJam is the learning curve associated with mastering its features. I find it challenging and time-consuming to grasp certain functionalities, and it impacts my usage. The zooming feature pisses me off most.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figjam helps me solve that problem of having to open many google docs and having links flying around. Sometimes when i use google docs to send my ideas, i forget to enable viewers and it's a deadlink. But with figjam, everything is accessible to everyone. I love the collaborative feature of figjam

  ### 36. Useful for UX design brainstorming, flows, and more!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I like how easy it is to make shapes, type text into shapes, and add connections between shapes. I make these most often when making user flows for a new product feature before I start on wireframes/designs. I like how flexible it is and how it even comes with templates to save me a lot of time. We also use this company wide for our product roadmap.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't like how you can't have multiple pages in a FigJam file unlike Figma design files where you're able to do that. This can make it hard to find stuff and my figjam file can get pretty messy but there's a workaround by creating your own table of contexts and hyperlinking the text.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me a lot of time because I don't need to draw the shapes and elements I need. Before Figjam, I was making user flows on figma design files by drawing my own shapes and making them into components. I also like how it's easy to collobrate in real time because it can be used on a web browser and feels lightweight and fast to use so people can see each other's updates/changes in real time.

  ### 37. Best Design platform for collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkatesh K. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Best tool for design even without any design knowledge. Best tool for early stage companies who don't have any design experience

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Eats too much of RAM space. Also feel some of the features aren't as exhaustive as MIRO.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tool for colloboration which is as useful for remote companies

  ### 38. Incomparable collaboration tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

- Delightful, one of a kind features like the timer with music, stickers, washi tape
- Ease of use and usability; I don't question how to use a feature or new functionality, it feels intuitive and easy

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

- There isn't much if nothing at all. It meets all of my needs and more with the delightful features.
- I sometimes will unknowingly create custom elements that are way too big or too small relative to the sizes of given elements like the Sticky Note. Which will then require me to change the scale my custom elements to the sizes of the Sticky Note.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Ability to edit the same file as my colleagues
- Ability to diagram, map, write, draw all in the same file

  ### 39. Good Tool to design UI and creating the prototype, helpful for a developer & QA also.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit S. | Product Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

post design a UI, we can see the detailing like font colour / size , easy to check the CSS also, able to create a prototype of prepared ui for presentation purpose.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

there is nothing which i can explain in terms of dislike for figjam, i found this a very helpful tool. i can recommend this tool to others for their designing purpose.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. solving the problem of design detailing , means post design , product/ developer team can see the detailing of that design ( ex css, images, incons etc)
2. proto type functionality for representation.

  ### 40. FigJam - An Online Collaboration Tool for Brainstorming and Ideating From Figma

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devansh R. | Senior Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is basically an online whiteboard from Figma where the teams can brainstorm and ideate on new ideas and projects all together in real-time. The team members can collaborate seamlessly and at the same time without any hassle of sharing controls and version controls for the files. All of the features on FigJam are very easy to understand and the user interface is also modernized and functional.

We also get communication features built into the whiteboard platform itself where we can chat and put live comments on the visuals. All of the communications can be done on the platform itself without any need for separate software.

There is an availability of the required tools for brainstorming and ideating like flow charts, connectors, custom drawings, shapes, sticky notes, and chat features. These tools altogether help to elevate the overall experience of collaborating on our projects.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

FigJam is a simple platform used as a visual collaboration platform. It means we work in teams on some topic and ideate on it together. If there had been an option to include animations for the flow of operations or some sort of videos, it could have been better.

We can only export the content from FigJam in the form of a PDF or a simple image file. If we want to export the content in any other format, it is not possible on FigJam as of now.

Another thing is, there are sometimes lags during working on the whiteboard which are not so frequent but they do occur once in a while.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam is providing a solution to collaborate and brainstorm on projects visually, in remote environments where users can work and ideate together on a common online whiteboard. It provides a dedicated environment for the teams to work together, visually on the ideas. In simpler terms, FigJam provides a virtual platform allowing teams to work seamlessly and harness creative thinking through visuals in real-time.

I have been using FigJam for more than a year now to build up and ideate on the flow of operations for the project along with my team members. I find the seamless and easy-to-use functionalities of FigJam useful for my tasks. I usually use its whiteboard for creative problem-solving.

  ### 41. FigJam is the best tool to work collaboratively and draw diagram.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Didsayachai (Boyd) P. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I like FigJam because it allows me and my team to work collaboratively with different styles of diagrams. I can present my workflow/illustration and conduct a workshop with FigJam. The product design is so neat and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't like it when they have limited options of background colors to choose from. It's like you can use only what they have. It would be better if we can choose our own pallette in organization level

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Work collaboratively and can use it for brainstorming ideas. It can be used anywhere. so we can have more people join the board to clash ideas.

  ### 42. Ideation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jhony R. | Data chief officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I really like Figjam because part of my job involves developing prototypes for products, applications, or web solutions, and I enjoy being able to have journey maps, user ideas, and research integrated into the same platform I use for designing, Figma. Additionally, the central bottom toolbar is very user-friendly and enables a smooth workflow without wasting much time exploring and searching for customization options.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't like that compared to similar platforms like Miro, it falls a bit short. For example, it doesn't have many multimedia options for creating presentations, such as including voice or video. And there is also no video or call feature that facilitates group work.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to capture ideas from multiple team members in one place and in a synchronous manner is invaluable. It allows us to have a better workflow without losing sight of the annotations, findings, or observations that each team member has, which can easily be overlooked.

  ### 43. Powerful, Collaborative and Super Convenient to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akriti S. | Co-Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I remember using Figma as a collaborative whiteboarding tool for my team since all the other such apps weren't as engaging. Then came FigJam and we couldn't stop using it because it is an extremely powerful tool with the most complex tools put in the simplest ways. Love its UI the most.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

FigJam has a list of helpful tools and is perfectly real-time. I have never faced any issues while using any of the tools, widgets or features. One thing that I want to highlight they can work upon is to add a natural smoothness slider to the pen and highlighters so it works great even on trackpads.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A perfect collaborative whiteboarding tool is a rare find. FigJam solved most of our team's problems. I can now keep all my important files organised in a single figma account and create different teams + edit my figma designs and get the feedback on my design in the quickest way.

  ### 44. Great UX design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel G. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I love the templates and how easy they are to use and start using. Even beginners will have no problem navigating this software. I love that it's free to use the basic software and that it isn't forcing you to upgrade to an expensive package. Collaborating is SO easy as well-multiple people can be on the same board making changes and adding to your creations.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I wish that the software was available without an active internet connection. If you aren't worried about another person making edits on the board, it might be helpful to have an offline option.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems with Adobe Software, for example, is that you can't collaborate on the same file at the same time. When in early stages of ideation this is great for remote work and getting all of your ideas out into the open for the rest of your team to see.

  ### 45. FigJam is essential for my UXR work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa L. | Associate User Experience Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam makes collaboration with my project stakeholders engaging, easy, and fun. It's approachable and usable regardless of one's tech savvy. FigJam also allows me to perform critical UXR tasks like affinity diagramming in an efficient and visually pleasing manner. I rely heavily on FigJam in my day-to-day work and create almost all of my deliverables in it.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Some things in Figjam could be made more efficient. I mainly run into issues with formatting. For example, you can't easily paste Excel rows into it. I also wish you could edit text without having to perform multiple clicks to move through layers in the file (e.g., two clicks to edit text in a sticky). I understand why this exists, but it would also speed up my work process. Resizing things can also get weird sometimes (e.g., highlighting some design assets and trying to make them bigger only expands certain elements, have to manually fix).

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam is kind of my one-stop shop for pretty much my entire research process. I use FigJam to plan studies in it with my stakeholders, take notes during user interviews, affinity diagram user insights, create final deliverables, prioritize customer feedback, etc. It would be much harder to do these things without FigJam.

  ### 46. The Perfect Workshopping Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason W. | Senior Director, User Experience Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is simple and flexible -- my team and I have used it for everything from workflow diagramming to stakeholder workshops on product vision. We've also trained non-designers to use the tool in under 2 minutes. They love it and even use it when we aren't around!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The ability to collaborate with non-authenticated users is incredible, but resetting the 24-hour timer is a bit tedious. I understand there has to be some inconvenience to push for more paid accounts, but I wish there was a way to extend those timers. I also wish there was a "vertical alignment" option in the menu bar for moving text to the top or bottom of shapes (in addition to horizontal alignment). But other than small feature requests like this, I have no complaints!

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam lets me, my all-remote team, and our stakeholders quickly and easily collaborate to collect and organize ideas. It's incredibly simple and works well for people of all technical skillsets. I use it for hours every day.

  ### 47. Great tool for creatives and strategists alike

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam's simplicity and ease of use enables fast mapping and sharing of complex systems and dependencies. I've recently created several sprawling figjam charts that outline marketing programs from beginning to end for our clients. They have been so helpful keeping the team informed at a high level and are a great reference to regularly huddle around.

This is just one kind of use - because of its flexibility you can begin to discover ways to think and present ideas large or small. Create fast design mock-ups, review and provide feedback on designs, create storyboards - the list can go on and on. Easily shareable to anyone with little to no trouble with login attempts or dealing with incompatible file types.

It feels so freeing to break from the clunky confines of a ppt slide with its bad clip art and boring bullet points. Expanding across an endless canvas allows us to combat any confusion or anxiety that tends to show up around building complex marketing campaigns.

Figjam has become one the most valuable tools in my arsenal and is one of the best I've seen after almost 2 decades of working with these types of apps.

Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Can't think of any at the moment. I need to spend more time exploring all the templates to expand my usage.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to visually explain complex systems in a simple way. Provides value to our consultancy.

  ### 48. Figjam review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The ability to use sticky notes, draw freely, and have various templates at hand enhances creativity and efficiency in group projects.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Limited depth of features for more complex design tasks. While it excels in basic brainstorming and diagramming, professionals seeking advanced design functionalities might find it somewhat lacking.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For marketing, visualizing concepts and strategies is key. FigJam's user-friendly design tools help in quickly bringing abstract ideas to life, enabling us to create and share visual representations of campaigns and strategies with ease.

  ### 49. Great free tool, intuitive UI, and anything but boring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela F. | Senior designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

It's awesome that FigJam is built in with Figma and it's so highly collaborative. No need for a separate ecosystem.

Love these product features: timer, spotlighting users to see their view of the screen, stickers, auto-align tools and guides, variety of community templates available.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Mindmaps are more difficult compared to competitors (ie, Miro). It's difficult to connect words into a cohesive web.

When mood boarding and importing a bunch of images, it doesn't auto-resize photos into a neat masonry layout with consistent sizing like competitors (ie, Pinterest and InVision).

Even though FigJam isn't for video calling, because it's so collaborative, I wish there was a chat feature like other online video call apps.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a highly collaborative tool that doesn't feel formal; it's not a deck, but can be used to communicate the same information, and there are lots of fun stickers to spice up casual work sessions.

  ### 50. Great tool for collaboration that everyone – designers, product, engineering, and more – can use!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah Z. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I love that it updates in real time, that I can use it on my iPad and desktop, and the flexibility it provides my team. I am able to share this with anyone at my company through an open session and it's been so great for collaboration on work, and even fun activities like bonding, icebreakers, etc. It also has a lot of great crossover functionality from Figma.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I dislike how the iPad app has a size restriction – it stops me from being able to work on the go or sketch directly in a file using my iPad. I also dislike how components work in FigJam, it's not as intuitive and you can't really bring many things to Figjam in a way that works as you expect a component to.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration primarily – this is great to visually collaborate with team members where a document doesn't quite cut it. It's super easy to work through problems and explore, and makes work go much more smoothly.
