"Streamlined Field Operations Despite Manual Integrations"

What do you like best about Fieldmobi Workforce Management?

What I value most about Fieldmobi Workforce Management is its mobile‑first build that fits our on‑the‑go medical‑device field team at Prime Med Tech Field Services. I’m Aya Rashid, Field Data Collection Specialist. Before adopting Fieldmobi, we were relying on EZMaxPlanner for scheduling, and our technicians had no way to get real‑time job alerts on their phones. All assignment updates had to wait until they got back to an office computer. Back in April, that old workflow caused a costly incident: one of our technicians drove 45 minutes across town for a hospital assessment that had already been assigned to another engineer. That wasted labor hours and nearly made us miss a healthcare client’s compliance submission deadline. Now, Fieldmobi pushes assignments straight to each technician’s mobile phone while they are traveling between hospitals and outpatient clinics. They can pull up site addresses, special client notes and task requirements without needing to bring along a laptop. They check‑in when they arrive at a facility and mark jobs finished right after finishing equipment inspections. For my part, I can look at the dashboard anytime to see which site assessments are pending, in‑progress or completed. This visibility saves me countless phone calls and text messages chasing technicians for simple status updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fieldmobi Workforce Management?

One of my biggest ongoing frustrations working with Fieldmobi Workforce Management is the complete absence of native integration with ArcGIS Survey123. There is no automatic way to tie Fieldmobi task records to our geospatial site‑assessment surveys. Every job record has to be exported as a CSV file, then manually matched against our Survey123 inspection datasets. Back in May, one of our technicians completed an audit inside a downtown children’s hospital. After I exported a bulk CSV from Fieldmobi, some of the export columns shifted out of alignment. I accidentally linked that hospital’s inspection data to records belonging to a separate outpatient clinic. When we handed over the compliance report to our medical client, they immediately spotted the mismatched facility information. I spent most of my afternoon cross‑referencing technician handwritten logs and GPS timestamps to correct every entry. On top of integration headaches, offline sync behavior can be really unreliable. Our hospital sites often have poor cellular coverage indoors. Technicians will update task status offline, and those changes sometimes never upload once service returns. We once had a job sit marked open for two full days even though the technician had already finished the whole inspection. Its reporting functionality is also very inflexible; there are zero pre‑built templates made for medical‑device compliance audits, so I must construct every client report manually inside Excel. There is also no geofencing protection, so a technician can check‑in to a job location remotely without actually being present on‑site. These shortcomings create tons of repetitive manual work and raise the risk of documentation errors for our lean 32‑person team. I hope to see Survey123 compatibility, compliance‑oriented report templates and basic geofencing added in future releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
