It is an intuitive system with a simple interface to navigate. The ability to have a direct integration with our ERP system was important to us and we have been happy with how easy it is to sync between the ERP and Field Materials. The AI within Field Materials has expedited approval and receiving processes, which has decreased the amount of time we spend on those activities and allowed us to focus on more important things. Field Materials has also increased the visibility between ordering, receiving and accounting. Field Materials clearly highlights if there are and discrepancies between orders, what was received and what we were invoiced for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Field Materials? Sometimes when shipping charges are added to an invoice it can be a little cumbersome to go back and changed the order to add shipping just to sync the invoice to our ERP. For inventory and their "Item database", which is just all items that you have ordered before, They base all searched of the item description instead of the part number. So when we order something from a different vendor and they use a different description it creates a new item in the item database. That causes a headache when you go to add left over items ordered from a job back to inventory and it tries to add it back as a new inventory item because the description doesn't match the existing inventory item. They are working on solving the issue with duplicate items because of different descriptions. This would make inventory management much easier.
