Why FeedBoss
I tried several tools that claimed to write in my voice and suggest posts, but they didn't work for me: they kept regurgitating the same material. The truth is my interests have different facets, and those tools never did them justice.
That's what drew me to FeedBoss, and it's still what makes it unique. It's also why I describe my setup below: I want real coverage across all my topics, not the same angle on repeat.
What works really well Authority Map and goals: I set my content pillars and goals in FeedBoss and track how I'm doing against them, so I don't post five times in a row on the same hobbyhorse. Trending topics: when I'm short on ideas, there's always something topical to spark a post. LinkedIn profile audit: a fantastic job, with clear indicators of my strengths and weaknesses and what to improve. Voice profile: drafts sound like me, not like a press release. Image Studio: I can quickly prompt for a suitable image, in my pre-defined brand kit design, to support a post. Above all, I don't lose any time going elsewhere to do it. Video Studio: at the start it just didn't work. Now it works extremely well and is very easy to use. It runs on your own AI key (I use Claude) and does a great job. Hats off to the team. A very responsive team: I asked for a missing feature, being able to define the first comment on a post, and they shipped it within a few days. Now I write the first comment together with the post, before it goes out, and it's published automatically alongside it. I use it mostly to point back to my earlier posts on the same topic, with no more scrambling to add the comment by hand after publishing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The calendar and all date pickers have the first day of the week hardcoded to Sunday, US style. For a European, that's jarring every time. A Monday-first option, please!
The traction emails all look the same. I love getting "your post is picking up traction" emails, but they only give the number of reactions, so I have to click through every time to find out which post they mean. A thumbnail or the first line of the post would fix that.
What I'd love to see next: An easier brand kit setup: there is a brand kit, but setting it up is fiddly and manual. Being able to import a file (like my brand guidelines) as a reference, or describe the brand in a prompt, would add more flexibility. Better mobile support: using the browser interface on my phone is hit and miss, so a proper mobile experience would help with quick edits on the go, which may just be a final polish and scheduling.
