What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

We can define custom ETQ scripts and formulas. Tasks can be used to automate processes and send email notifications. Inheritance settings are very useful while designing forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?

Node synchronization is terrible. Limited options in Task and connection profile. The documentation for ETQ Reliance is not user-friendly. Not enough documentation available. Technical support provided by ETQ representatives is often useless, does not help solve our problems. Editing the form's jsp file to customize the look of forms is very inconvenient. Retrieving files often give indexing errors. File management is not good from a developer's perspective. Users are often unable to retrieve files due to unexpected errors. Recommendations to others considering Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance):

It is a good tool. Helps automate and digitize a lot of processes. Improves performance and saves time. But developing in ETQ reliance requires a high level of expertise. It takes years of experimenting and out-of-the-box thinking to fulfill certain requirements as the tool does not provide enough developer-friendly options for customization. What problems is Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We keep a check on Quality control. It has helped automate a lot of processes and reduce the time required. Assigning users to different groups gives them specific powers to perform their tasks and streamline the processes. We manage quality and engineering-related files. User notifications have improved the performance and reduced costs. Connection profiles have helped collect data from various sources and present it to the user. Using task profiles to send a daily notification email for jobs with pending status has helped close the jobs in time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
