It saves tons of time by allowing me to chat with plans and with bids I've received. Instead of digging through plans to look for a specific detail, I can use the chat. "What gauge of steel do the structural drawings specify for the deck?". You can also ask very broad questions, like "give me the quantities of all architectural finishes", and get a BOQ very quickly. Like all AI products, everything still needs to be verified. Outputs are given with a convincing level of confidence, even if the platform hallucinates. There is also currently no way to hyperlink the AI's output to a specific section of the drawings, which would make it a lot easier to verify where the system was pulling its information from.
