"Clean Admin Console and Quiet Client That Automates Workstation Validation"
4/5
What do you like best about ESET PROTECT?

Maintaining operational integrity means we have to keep a constant watch on our production and test workstations to remain in strict compliance with our operational standards. The administrative web console is cleanly structured and responsive, so our staff can check system status and configure packages quickly without getting lost in a maze of menu items during critical shifts. It also integrates smoothly with our directory services and ticketing/dispatch workflows, allowing device data to move between systems reliably and without gaps. Even when dozens of complex validation processes are running concurrently across hundreds of active devices, the local client maintains a remarkably quiet footprint. It doesn’t interfere with our resource-hungry QA applications, and it doesn’t lock users out of their sessions. Overall, it has automated the fragmented, time-consuming workstation validations that previously consumed a lot of our engineers’ time and attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT?

The proactive algorithms that detect behavioral anomalies work effectively, catching unusual memory injections or suspicious background processes well before they can interfere with important operations. What really makes it stand out, though, is its ability to correctly identify zero-day anomalies without being triggered by our everyday proprietary tests. Also, when we switched to their endpoint protection, they handled all of our certificate-related questions quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
