What do you like best about ER/Studio?

What I like most about ER/Studio is how it brings conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling together in one place, making complex database design much easier to manage. The interface is well organized, and the new AI modeling assistant is a nice productivity boost it can generate a solid starting model from plain-language requirements, though I still review and refine the output for more complex schemas. The pricing was good, and the supporting also very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ER/Studio?

One thing I don't like is that ER/Studio can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many modeling and governance features packed into the interface. The AI Modeling Assistant is a great way to kick-start a logical model, but it still needs manual review for complex enterprise schemas, and I'd love to see a more streamlined, cloud-native experience with a gentler onboarding process. What problems is ER/Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?

ER/Studio solves the challenge of designing and maintaining consistent data models across multiple databases and teams, which has helped us reduce modeling errors and keep everyone aligned on the same data definitions. The AI Modeling Assistant speeds up the initial design phase by turning business requirements into logical data models, allowing us to spend more time refining the architecture instead of starting from scratch.
