What do you like best about Equity Matrix?

We were using spreadsheets to track equity between three co-founders and it was a mess. Equity Matrix replaced all of that. You log your time and cash contributions and it calculates everyone's ownership automatically. The Slack integration is great because you can log hours without leaving your workspace. It's simple, transparent, and everyone on the team can see exactly where they stand. Wish we had this when we first started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Equity Matrix?

The price is more than slicing pie app, but I don't mind paying a little more because it's more complete and a way nicer product. I wish it had more integrations for time tracking, they just have slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Equity Matrix solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a small team, and at first we didn’t know how to split equity fairly. Not everyone is at the same stage in their career or has the same availability to work on the project we started. With Equity Matrix, we can simply log the time we contribute and any cash we put in, and it balances out the equity split.
