We hire out eight tinnies plus crab pot kits, rods and eskies, and run skippered crabbing trips, all from one shed on a tidal creek. EquipDash handles all of it in one place. Each boat is its own resource, so a boat can't be double-booked, and the add-ons are tracked as real inventory. When we run out of pot kits on a Saturday, the booking page stops offering them instead of me finding out at the counter. The digital waiver was a big one for us: everyone signs the hire agreement and safety declaration on their phone before they arrive, so the 15-minute briefing at the dock is actually 15 minutes. QR check-in and check-out on the pontoon means I know exactly which boats are on the water at any moment, which matters when a northerly comes through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our start times move every day because crabbing depends on the tide, and the booking slots are built around a fixed weekly schedule. I end up adjusting the next fortnight's slot times by hand every Sunday night. A way to shift a whole day's slots by an offset would save me half an hour a week. Rescheduling a full day of bookings when the Bureau issues a wind warning also takes more clicks than it should. It works, but it's one booking at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
