What I value most working for Munich Biotech Innovation Hub is Eoiin Connect’s combination of isolated workspaces and highly adjustable guest‑user permissions, it directly solves one of our biggest headaches when running multi‑party biotech R&D work. We constantly cooperate with university research labs, early‑stage biotech founders and investment parties, and protecting our confidential intellectual property is always top priority. Every joint research project gets its own independent workspace. When I add outside collaborators as guests, their access stays restricted strictly to that one project space. They can adjust task statuses, upload lab assay datasets and leave meeting feedback, yet they cannot view our other ongoing confidential drug‑target feasibility work. We experienced this advantage firsthand during our pre‑clinical molecule‑screening project with a local university institute. Before switching over, our academic partners would send all lab progress updates over long email threads. My team had to manually transfer every piece of experimental data into our internal documents. It created tons of repetitive work and critical details would sometimes get buried in overflowing inboxes. After we started using Eoiin Connect, university researchers updated task progress directly on the platform. This cut down dozens of tedious back‑and‑forth email check‑ins every single month. I also really like building custom task fields to match biotech‑specific workflows. I set up custom fields to log experiment batch numbers, material transfer agreement status and IP review progress. Last quarter one of our in‑house scientists almost mixed up two separate raw lab datasets coming from different partner institutions. Thanks to these self‑configured fields, he quickly cross‑checked metadata inside Eoiin Connect and avoided handing incorrect experimental materials to our investment reviewers. Of course we still have frustrations. I still manually copy contact data over from Lusha, and CSV exports sometimes mess up German umlaut characters for institute names. Even with those annoyances, being able to safely onboard large groups of external stakeholders without exposing sensitive R&D knowledge makes Eoiin Connect stand out for our 131‑person innovation hub. There are multiple frustrating limitations within Eoiin Connect that add substantial manual overhead for my role as Senior R&D Project Manager. The guest‑user administration creates the biggest drain on my working time. There is no bulk invite feature for external collaborators. Back in April for our biomarker validation project, I needed to onboard seven university lab scientists. I had to fill in every name, email address and permission setting individually. This repetitive process took me more than forty minutes of uninterrupted work. On top of that, there are no automated alerts for inactive guest users. Every two months I need to go through every workspace one by one and revoke access for former partners. If I skip this manual audit, old university collaborators retain entry to confidential research material, which creates real compliance risk for our hub. CSV import and export brings regular trouble for our German‑based teams. When I generate stakeholder lists for our internal compliance department, institute names containing ä, ö or ü frequently become garbled characters. On one occasion I almost submitted this corrupted export report directly to our compliance officer before spotting the bad text at the very last minute. There is no native connection to Lusha either. Every partner contact I find has to be copied and pasted manually. One busy workday I pasted an incorrect lab email for an external researcher, so they never received their guest invitation and we lost almost a week of experimental feedback. Beyond that, we cannot embed OneDrive files directly within tasks. We can only paste shared links. Two months ago an updated pre‑clinical dataset was uploaded to OneDrive, yet nobody refreshed the old link stored inside Eoiin Connect. External partners clicked the outdated link and were blocked from accessing key files, delaying our milestone review meeting by one business day. There is also no Outlook email thread sync, so important partnership feedback has to be manually copied as task notes. Once a piece of investor conditional feedback got omitted, and our team operated using outdated requirements until our weekly sync uncovered the mistake. These flaws do not render the tool unusable, but they introduce avoidable risks and piles of repetitive admin work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
