We worked with Elogic as our ecommerce development partner for one of our clients. Our team handled marketing, analytics, and CRO, while Elogic was responsible for Magento development, integrations, performance optimization, and the technical implementation of CRO/UX improvements.
What I appreciated most was how quickly the Elogic team got into a complex Magento environment and understood how the different parts of the system worked together. They did not just address individual issues, they looked at the underlying causes and helped us prioritize the technical work.
Communication was clear and proactive throughout the project. We had visibility into progress, risks, blockers, and next steps, which made it much easier to coordinate the technical work with our own marketing and CRO activities.
The team also delivered measurable technical improvements. Typical page load time on key pages was reduced from around 3-4 seconds to about 1.5 seconds. They also worked on ERP and backend integrations, including moving some processes to background jobs and improving error handling and retries.
Another strong area was custom ecommerce logic. Elogic worked with customer accounts, catalogs, and different pricing rules where standard Magento functionality was not enough. They were able to translate these requirements into the technical implementation without requiring constant direction from our side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The initial discovery and ramp-up took a little longer than we expected because the existing Magento setup and integrations were quite complex. The team needed time to understand the architecture and dependencies before making changes.
In hindsight, this was a reasonable trade-off for a project with this level of complexity. Once they had a clear picture of the environment, the development process became much more efficient and predictable, and we did not have to keep revisiting the same technical questions.
