What do you like best about Ellucian Smart Planning & Registration?

As a student, I love the ease with which I can view my degree requirements and the courses I have left to graduate. The "What If" feature is my favorite. I use it often to determine the number of courses I would need to take if I changed my degree program, or if I decide to add a certificate program to my plan. It is very easy to use. What do you dislike about Ellucian Smart Planning & Registration?

The only true downside I see when using DegreeWorks is the inability to change the prospective degree program from within the "What If" feature once you have processed it. You have to return to the main page and then select the "What If" feature again to create a new program view. I think the ability to select more than one concentration for a degree would be beneficial as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ellucian Smart Planning & Registration solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a student and a staff member, using Degree Works solves the time students would have to spend communicating with their advisor/Success Coach on the number of classes they need to graduate or even the classes they need to take next. It also helps them see the additional classes they would need to take if they decided to change majors. Degree Works allows students to access this information by themselves at any time - very important for tech-savvy, busy college students of all ages. Degree Works also helps the advisors/Success Coaches by providing the information they need to advise students quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
